[27.10.2022] Room is clean and comfy. Bathroom is clean. Door bell was not functioning. Elevators were functioning. Front Office was great, housekeepers are also polite and friendly. The person whom I spoke on the phone to make room reservation need to improve on her communication skill. Breakfast was a disappointment. We can only choose ONE type of food from the given list. The food looks presentable but the taste is bland. There is a supermarket on the same block of this premise.

The room is spacious and bed is comfy. The large windows allows natural lighting into the room and windows can be opened to let fresh air in. Hot water is available. Check in and out was very easy and staffs were also friendly. Highly recommended for those overnight at Lahad Datu.

Room: The room size quite OK and comfortable. Had sleep with KING and TWIN bed room. The bed was so soft and it makes my nights goes well.. The only disappointment is the flooring. The corridor outside the room is carpet but inside the room are tiles. The tiles looks clean but after a few walk inside the room, I found my foot turn black which indicated the tiles used are not very convincing even though I had ask the Housekeeping to mopped it. Safety box also available.

Minibar: No fridge but it did provide instant coffee and tea and also 2 mineral water.

Bathroom - Quite OK. Only provide limited amenities. The shower if can make it portable so that we can hold the shower instead it attached on the walls.

Location: Located at Sri Perdana which is under Hap Seng properties... it was a very nice place with many types of restaurant available.. from Chinese, Malay and Indian cuisine. Watson also nearby the hotel... the most convincing of the hotel is it just located the same complex building with Servay Hypermarket.. hence guest can shop for clothings and daily use FnB which is just located next door. Since it has a hypermarket, parking facilities are limited during peak hours: 7.00pm - 9.00pm.

Service - Staff is friendly and smile always. Dissapointment happen when I use their iron which had leave a black spot on my cloth. The iron was not cleaned which is had blackspot on it. Had call the front desk to change but till I'm check-out.. the iron still not deliver to my room. However congrats to HOUSEKEEPING as they provide all the things I need especially LAUNDRY BAG. TQ

Value: Valued for money. All rooms include breakfast.

F&B: The breakfast at this hotel was a nightmare. first, the food quality does not monitor. Second, the choice of food was limited in which I can forecast the type of food that the restaurant provide. The most compulsory food that the restaurant provided during my 10 days stay at the hotel: Sausage, French Toast, Nugget. Third, Did you ever ate Nasi Kuning without sambal and additional condiments?? Here you can find it.. hahaha... Fourth: Chilli Sauce was another issue. Since the restaurant provide scramble eggs and nugget/sausage.. no single bowl of chilli sauce was available and every morning I HAD TO ASK FOR CHILLI SAUCE from the waiter.. I hope the Food and Beverages Manager can look at this matter.

My 3rd time in Lahad Datu. The worst hotel I stayed in (compared to Bay Hotel & MB Hotel). Most expensive (paid RM142) but worse than 2 star standard
1) Noisy throughout (next to main road - room not sound proof). Less spacious. Tile floor untidy
2) Aircond not cooling - literally sleeping in sweat. Only 2 pillows given. No face/ hand towel. Low quality soap/ shower gel/ shampoo
3) Breakfast included but very poor quality - no variety - better buy from stalls outside hotel.
4) No reserved parking for customer - compete with Servey shoppers

Nutshell: Not recommended. Many other better options with cheaper rate and more comfortable in Lahad Datu

Room rates are above average. This is my second time here, again they can't find my booking details. So quite disappointed. Parking is quite trouble because this hotel is next to a supermarket. So need to patiently to wait for parking space.

Provide breakfast (complementary): plain rice without any dishes (not even a basic nasi lemak set up). Lots of sausages. Normal toaster and butter and kaya (self service). Everyday same half watermelon (sliced). Half boiled egg. Porridge (plain). I been staying here for 2 days. One more night here. Same breakfast for two days. Pls, at least fried noodle or bihun ok?

We had to spend an unplanned night in Lahad Datu due to permitting issues at Danum. The My INN is the first hotel you come across on the highway while entering the town. The hotel is not your usual budget accomodation but if you have a few people you can get a family room and split the price which make it a decent option.

The room was clean and well furbished, the breakfast is included and had a good array of Malay and western foods.

This large, modern hotel is about a 10 minute drive from the busy, noisy downtown area and I would highly recommend it if you have your own vehicle. It is very clean, quiet and the rooms are nicely decorated and modern. It has free parking, wifi, a lovely restaurant and is located beside a very large modern shopping area with beautiful views of the hills and ocean

· We stayed there for only a night, on our way to Danum Valley from Semporna.
I wasn't expecting much, we are not fussy people. The hotel and the room were clean, the AC worked fine, the bathroom was in good shape.
Breakfast was fine.
Nothing too fancy, it did the job. I'd go back if I ever have to spend the night in Lahad Datu.
Just bear in mind that there doesn't seem to have much to do around. You'll find places to eat, and there's a supermarket downstairs, but Lahad Datu is not a place were you'll want to linger, there's much to it.

· Got a twin bed room, when I had requested a double bed.

This is quite a large hotel with 8 floors. The room was spacious with AC, TV, safe, equipment and supplies to make tea/coffee, ironing facilities, large desk and comfortable beds. The bathroom was also good with towels, toilet paper and separate shower. There was supposed to be free WiFi but we were not able to join it with any of our two computers, wasting quite some time in trying to do so. Breakfast is served on the top floor and there are plenty of choices to choose from. We spent a quiet night and liked the hotel.
