Hotel's Favourite
After escaping a terrible holiday camp 30 miles away we were delighted that this Premier Inn had availability for 3 nights at a very reasonable rate. It was an excellent hotel, the room was extremely comfortable and cleaned to a very high standard in light of the pandemic. The reception staff we encountered during our stay were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The Beefeater restaurant on site was a lovely place to eat, good food, helpful staff and very COVID safe.

Premier Inns is a great organisation, the rooms are good and very reasonable. In the Woolpack restaurant the staff are bright and friendly but the food was a let down. The meal deal id very cheap but the menu is understandably limited. The steak on the first night was what we expected and we were happy enough. On our last night the beef pie was a sarcophagus of pastry impervious to the steel cutlery, I would not risk my teeth. The content was not good, the beans and peas cold and over cooked. My companions all had similar experiences with their choices. The front house staff were efficient and asked was everything OK? The trouble is that when all the meals are poor and there are not many customers, the people preparing the food did not do a good job. We preferred to just get it off the table and call it a night, waiting even longer for more of the same was a disappointment we were not prepared to face.

We visited the Ashford North PI on our return from Europe. We were impressed with the precautions taken to protect both the clients and staff alike. I asked for more pillows which were left outside our door in protective wrapping. The Beefeater restaurant next door also offered competent, professional service for dinner and breakfast. The menus may not be as lengthy but the staff are helpful and cheerful. Well done Whitbread on your staff training.

it was my mistake as I've booked wrong. When we got there and we had a booking for two adults instead of a family booking of 4 . My mistake in booking but the girls sorted it out in the best way ever. The hotel was booked up but Kany managed to find us a room . THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR such a brilliant service. Thank you Kany !!
