A very tired hotel . The food in the evening was mainly out of a packet, the room was very basic and like a furnace and my boiled eggs at breakfast were raw. A miserable experience. I don't even want to give it one star....More

Visited here when in Boroughbridge. Locals were very friendly. meals tasty and plentiful and the real ale positively thirst quenching.This was an old coaching inn with lots of character and had lots of nooks and crannies to sit in. Well worth a visit.
