This is a great B & B on the outskirts of castlerea. It is spotless and Rita is very welcoming and helpful in making your stay perfect. Great Irish breakfast. Beds very comfy and spacious rooms. The house is located in lovely grounds with nice views. Would recommend

...only it's a little hard to find when on foot and having travelled on the train-ferry-train: out the station go left up St. Patrick's Street turn left at Main Street go straight down past Lidl, go past the golf course on the right, past Cashel Park on the left it's a bit further on the left. Booked two rooms for a family of four (two adult children). We were visiting family in the area and needed a place to stay. Owner was very nice, and breakfast was fabulous. Accommodations were very clean.

Very clean and tidy, beds very comfortable, location excellent- 10 mins walk to Castlerea town centre. Some views look to Clonalis House, well kept gardens. Full Irish Breakfast served but also a choice for a light breakfast. Lots of information available for tourists about the local area and places of interest and historical importance. We enjoyed our stay at Armcashel. The rooms are very spacious, clean and neat. The Irish breakfasts were hearty and so delicious. I was ill the first day in Ireland and Rita was very attentive in taking it upon herself to make special food I could eat and flat soda. I hope if I ever return to Ireland it will...

My mum, Nan and me stayed here in September for a visit back to my Nan's hometown. I had forgotten about writing a review, but feel like Armcashel needs to be given the praise it deserves. Rita, the landlady was wonderful and really made our trip special. Our flight got in very late, and we didn't arrive until about 1.30am,...

Stayed here for one night after a long journey and couldn't have found a better port in a storm. Spotlessly clean rooms, sheets and towels. Shampoo and soaps provided (a little touch I appreciated as I was going to have to buy some after security checks meant I had to bin mine on leaving UK). Breakfast was very nice, with...

Stayed at the Armcashel as a party of 8 for one night as we were attending a funeral in Trien . The house is spotless clean and very comfortable. The landlady Rita is a friendly lady and does a very nice full Irish breakfast. Great value for money, would definitely recommend this b&b.
