This is the fifth time we have stayed at Pygmy Possum. Don't expect anything too flash - it's pretty no frills but it definitely does the job. Our boys are teenagers and the absence of TV and Internet was a refreshing break. We made friends with others staying at the lodge and the location - literally ski to the door...

I've stayed at the Pygmy Possum for spring skiing 5 times now (most recently at the start of Sep 2015), as part of a big group (all members or friends of members) who have frequented the lodge for over 30 years, making us the longest-running group in the lodge's history. The rooms are practical and guests appear to look after them well, the bathroom was compact but practical and the shared areas are well through-through to accommodate a range of people. Friends who have been members of the Elouera Ski Club had arranged a get-together of a range of their friends over the Easter long weekend. The lodge worked very...

Pygmy Possum Lodge is owned by Elouera Ski Club, but makes accommodation available for non-members. There are no staff at Pygmy Possum so a certain amount of self-help is necessary, including cleaning your own room and assisting with any jobs that need doing around the lodge.
