Beautiful old rustic cottages perfect for a little stay. The cottage was very spacious and quite large. Good value for money. Owners were extremely friendly and very welcoming. If you like modern, this isn't for you, but if love old rustic charm this is the place for you.

We loved it here....great bush style camping. Yes there is only one toilet and no showers but they tell you that and that is what is advertised...they are only charging $15 a night for 2 people with access to toilet so what are people complaining about ??? Owners are super friendly and helpful. Great little museum they have put together...

We were welcomed by the owners even though we arrived late, and the cottage was a delight to stay in. At only $90 a night for us, we enjoyed the fireplace, electric blanket, and our own private space.

Great stop over Very friendly No showers but clean facilities and very quiet. An excellent stop to be in readiness for the Unzoo and tassie devils next day. Also saves to drive off the peninsular if doing the port arthur ghost tour.

Bad..not advisable! The owner tries to rent out campground for tents and campers but only offers one toilet and little watersupply which he even controlls personnally. He should travel around in Tasmania and discover per example huon valley caravan park where the farmers build up a great place for campers of all sorts and build up sufficient amenities.

Did not realise that most park offices close at 6pm. Got the number for Taranna Cottages from my Camps Australia App. Phone was answered by a very polite gentleman and we were told 'no problem, come on in' . Out of our week stay in Tasmania this was the pick of our camp sites. We were made welcome on arrival...

Stayed there as it was close to Port Arthur. The owner was very friendly and helpful, and the cottage was very sweet. It has a separate bedroom, living room (with an open fire), kitchen, bathroom and toilet. It had all the amenities to cook our evening meal and breakfast, which was a great way to save some money. The bed...
