We both feel the photos don't do this place justice and would happily return. Restaurant is closed but Port Arthur is just up the road. We found the Mussel boys by accident and would recommend it to anyone overnighting in the Port Arthur area

We didn't stay here, we were driving and enjoying our road trip along the sea, while we decided to stay for lunch. Food is surprisingly good. You should definitely try their coffee and donuts. Their wood fire baked pizza is also very good. They also help their community raising fund for a sick boy. Very kind.

We are in a short visit to Tassie and decided to visit Port Arthur. Booked into the Mussel Boys after seeing it on bookings.com. We arrived to a beautifully appointed unit, spa bath, king size bed, well kitted kitchen and a great outlook. Attached is the Fat Quoll who do great woodfired pizzas. Located a short drive to Port Arthur,...

A perfect location to relax and use as a base to explore the Tasman Peninsula. There are only 4 studio apartments on site, so very tranquil and exclusive. Perfect for couples seeking serenity. Also the added bonus of a wood fire pizza restaurant. We received a warm and friendly welcome from the owner. The apartment is stylish, modern and comfortable,...

Stayed here for two nights during the busy holidays. We got the cabin with timber everywhere and it was a bit much to look at but we got used to it haha. All the facilities here were great, we loved the balcony and loved how private and peaceful it was. The owner was super friendly and every provided us with...

Lovely rooms with a beautiful view and in a great location! Clean and modern with both a clothes washer and dryer. The wood fired pizzas and salads available at the cafe are also great! Central to a lot of activities on Tasman Peninsula makes it a great place to stay!

After 9 weeks, 7000 km and an unknown number of hotel rooms/apartments we ended our road trip at The Mussel Boys on the Tasman Peninsula. Here we found our favorite "home away from home". We booked it for two nights, were lucky to get a third and would still have wanted to stay longer. The four cabins are beautifully renovated...

Just 10km from Port Arthur, this was perfectly located overlooking a bay. In the morning we watched rabbits and birds on the lawn from our cabin. There is also a little restaurant on site serving wood fired pizza, steak and seafood. The cabins were very clean and beautifully presented with wood floors and wood touches in the bathroom. Most comfortable...

2 night stay at this unexpected little gem. 20 odd minutes to the Blow Hole, Tasman Arch the Remarkable Caves to name a few. These studios are spacious, clean and comfy with all the amenities that you will need. Spa bath in each as well. Perfect for that short term or long term getaway

Thanks for taking the time to post your comments. Having taken over the business in March and made a few changes over winter they are greatly appreciated. I hope you have the opportunity to spend some more time on the Peninsula again soon Kind regards Kim

My husband and I have spent three weeks travelling around Tassie and decided to stay closer to Port Arthur this time we are in Tassie as it's quite a drive back to Hobart. Was happy to find this accomodation at quite a good price online, unfortunately I doubled booked myself and ended up having to cut our stay back to...
