Detailed Reviews
Went there with an expectation to be refreshed. For which we got nice and cozy room with a great view. The bathroom had small space and a window which made us uncomfortable while showering. On top of that there was no hot water.
The view and the ambience are the jewels of the property. But then the food that we got served for both dinner and breakfast were pathetic. Had greater hopes regarding the meals as per the price we were paying but were disappointed at last.
The service staffs were attentive. Red wine served with a glass that had lipstick marks on it was immediately replaced with a new one.
If they put more effort on planning a good buffet menu and improving the service quality, I wouldn’t mind revisiting the property sooner.

+1
I recently stayed here with my friends and chose the Presidential suite. The customer service and staff friendliness were good, dinner and breakfast were included in our package which costed NPR.3,107 pp. However, a downside was that there was no air conditioning or even a fan in the room, which I found surprising given the price. Food was average, Puri was very oily. I would suggest to add fresh juice for breakfast. Nevertheless, the resort was clean and well-maintained overall.

Well we were little disappointed with the location where this resort was. We thought it to be alone among the jungle but there are other residential houses nearby. Many building of this restaurant were under construction. We were provided a presidential suit with no TV. WIFI was weak. And most of the disappointing part was being such a spacious resort there was no swimming pool. These were the downside that I felt about resort. Positive aspects of this resort was the dinner was delicious. I ate with my stomach full and my colleague even mentioned that they find it delicious. Need to add a bit more items in desserts. Service from the staff is top notch. They were hospitable and friendly. Overall I like this resort. Okay from me but it needs improvement.

I went to this resort with my wife to celebrate her birthday in June 2019 with high expectations but to my astonishment, we were extremely disappointed. It was a rainy night and when we reached there after checking in we were ushered to their dining hall where the roof was leaking and staffs were busy collecting the dripping water in various utensils rather than serving the customers. The food was way too inferior for the price they charged us and would you guys believe me if I told you that even after confirming with their charlatan marketing team, we were given a room with two single beds for a wedded couple. We were absolutely aghast at their stupidity and when I called that sales and marketing guy later he never picked up the phone or even bothered to give me a call back later. The room was poorly maintained and the icing on the cake was that the electricity was cut off several times that night. As you might have speculated by now that since the telephone was not working I had to walk all the way to their reception to get someone to fix the electricity outage. The crux of all this is never ever to visit this worthless resort best known for hopeless hospitality. The only good thing was we were close to nature. Period. Nothing less, nothing more.

We were displeased from the moment we arrived. We had to wait a long time for our rooms to be ready. We would have arrived at the hotel accordingly if only they had notified us of the check-in time when we booked; incidentally, check-in time is 3:00 pm, which we thought was odd. The rooms were clean and nice, with a pleasant view. However, there was a problem with the electricity. It came on and off repeatedly. There was no way to notify the staff about the problem because there was no telephone in the room.
When we were in our rooms, the wifi didn't work at all.
The dinner buffet was disappointing, with limited options and food that didn't taste particularly good. However, in comparison to last night's dinner, the breakfast spread was rather nice.
In a nutshell, this place will not entice us to come back. It has nothing more to offer than rooms with a good view.

I went there with my colleagues for the refreshment purpose. I was fully excited beforehand when we make a plan to visit this beautiful resort. The scenario was mesmerising, the food was yummy, chef and the other staff were very attentive and helpful. Special thanks to Mr. Ganesh Shrestha the GM of resort , who made sure that everything run smoothly. Thank you everyone for warm hospitality. I will recommend my friends and family to visit the resort.

Had a fantastic one-night stay at Green Valley Resort for our sales retreat. The serene environment, top-notch facilities, and attentive staff made it a memorable experience for the whole team. Special thanks to the General Manager for ensuring everything ran smoothly. Highly recommended for team events or peaceful getaways!

Went here for a corporate retreat and we had a very pleasant experience.
One tiny issue I have with SHC is that they don't accept card payment. So either you have to make the payment in cash at the resort or you deposit the amount in their bank account or visit their Kathmandu branch.
Other than that, everything went very smoothly with them. They were very nice on the phone when I made the booking and they also kept me updated on everything via mail until our corporate retreat. You can also request for pickup/dropoff for nominal charges.
BTW, the tent pictures can be quite deceiving. It's not as cosy as it looks. The tents are prone to disturbance from noise from the neighbors, but YMMV. They also tend to shake a bit when you walk around but nothing too serious. We did have a blast when we stayed in the tent but a word of warning regardless.
They have an area dedicated to grilling outdoors. The kitchen will marinate the meat and veggies for you charged per kilo. We did our own grilling but they will happily grill it for you too. It was especially nice since we went there in the dead of winter.
The area is perfect for a walk/ hike. They also have a mini "zoo" type with peacocks and such, which kids might find interesting. Food is just okay, nothing too extraordinary.

Just a few kilometers away from the city rush hidden amidst the jungle of peace and serenity, followed by a small village, this resort is located in a heavenly place. If you are tired of the day to day rush and want to escape the noise just drive through Budhanilkantha and upto Dandagaun. The road is narrow but good and the location is superb. If you go a bit higher then you can also enjoy glimpses of the slow capped mountains giving you eternity peace. Besides the attention one receives is unbeatable. Well trained, smiling staff ready to respond to your query. So there is no need to think more, just pack and go. But remember, you will have to book in advance if you plan for a night stay. This is enough to say how popular it is.
