The service was excellent, the food was delicious and the atmosphere topped the evening off brilliantly. I don't live nearby but would go out of my way to visit here again. Would absolutely recommend!

Well once again Barry and Annette show why their bar is special. Food was great, service was super and the staff were as usual very good. Place to go for great lunches. The menu was varied and there was a good selection of lunch time specials. The presentation of the cake and singing happy birthday was a special touch.

Keenan's in Termonbarry alongside the river Shannon is a handy stop off off the N4 enroute from Dublin to The West. The menu is extensive without being overly adventurous, which is probably just the ticket for the majority of travellers either on land or water. Nice ambience, lovely setting overlooking the river and reliably good food.

We stopped here for food last Saturday evening on a return visit from Mayo. The bar was busy but we got a lovely table for 4. The menu had a great selection and we all decided to have a mains as we had a good journey ahead of us home. I had the chicken in mushroom sauce and I have...

Just stopped for lunch while on our way West. Food was lovely as always but it's a pity that the owners are charging big money for water. They have a notice to say that there is a boil notice re: their tap water. They are changing 3 euro for a 2 litre bottle of water. It's a pity that they don't sell...

On the main Dublin/Mayo road, most people know Keenan's. It's a lovely pub, good food, nice staff but every time I go there, I tell myself I'll find somewhere equally nice but a little cheaper. I'm not on a budget but still. It's a little disappointing to see a pub with a captive market overprice its product.

Amazing Spot. Bar is lovely and welcoming, Hotel rooms are of average size but very modern, clean and the views from some of the rooms are fab - out onto the Canal. The food in the hotel is absolutely delicious and they catered for hundreds of people whilst we were there. The staff were so friendly considering how busy they...

This is a bar and restaurant that has accommodation upstairs. Initially we couldn't find the entrance to the hotel because you check in at the bar. Our rooms were of average size with lovely decor, very clean and everything we needed was in the room. We had a lovely view onto the Royal Canal. The Bar is lovely, warm and...
