Be careful with all the fuss around this place ! First of all, we didn't get the "eco" part in "ecolodge". They are watering the garden all day long during the dry season. They are also putting the lights on way before the sun sets. Not very eco-friendly. This place is ok if you have a lot of money to...

We are not going to comment on the rest, it really doesn't worth the time, but to say that our food prices are 3 to 4 time higher than the rest of the country (which rest of the country by the way?) is not only a blatant lie but also a very ignorant comment to do, most probably this person,...

Very good location, this ecolodge is well isolated on the road 18a not far from a nice village. The welcome was just ok the ecoroom are very basic, we could have done with a blanket as the night was quite cold. no isolation at all so be prepared to hear everything that is said next door! Breakfast is very "economic"...

We stayed in the Eco Room which is quite nice. We found it very clean and the view beautiful. It is nice and quiet, all you can hear are the sounds of nature. The bungalows are well constructed and we didn't feel the need for the mosquito net. Nice linens are provided and purified water as well. The shared bathrooms...

In the case of my review for Kingfisher Ecolodge, less is definitely more, so little do I have to say by way of negative comment. The welcome was friendly and unpretentious, the atmosphere is laid back and easy-going, the dinner choices are of a high quality (whether Italian or Lao) and the location in the middle of an unspoilt village...

The cost went up quite a bit due to the transport to the middle of no where at 100,000 kip each one way, due to the wet season. It was an adventure just organising the transport - but it worked! Charming. Glamping almost. No ac but great fans. Showers OK to say solar. Breaky good. Food a bit pricey and...

First of all many thanks for your nice review of our lodge. We would like however to point out that we do not advertise our food as organic even if it is, partially, if you read that on other websites or guide books I'm sorry but unfortunately it is beyond our control what other people write about us. We also...

I only spent two nights here, very happy with the staff and service. Bring Mosquito repellant, like all places in Laos there are mosses to deal with. Lovely rooms and I like that food too. My only complaint is that I didn't have enough time with the Elephants.

The place is really nice and the comfort bungalows just incredible. Even the Eco option with shared bathroom is nice. All comes with a very nice view on a green grass plain with elephants and water buffalos. Also the elephant riding in the village is nice and worth doing it. One issue of this place is the price. if I...

Great ecolodge, we had a bungalow in front of the wild with two elephants saw from our hammock on the balcony :), plenty of water buffalos, cows, geckos.... great time. Fans, mosquito net, safe... every thing you need in fact. No need of aircond because the nights are fresh. Very surprised to see some of the comments about the owner,...

My wife and I stayed for three nights in one of the excellent lodges. Beautifully fitted out and very tastefully appointed, well maintained and clean. The lodge is true to its claims of being eco-friendly, and also directly supports the local village. The view of the wetlands from our lodge was beautiful, and the peaceful and easy walk to the...
