Friends gifted us with a week of their time share property. “Le Lac” was a beautiful setting with both swans and Canada geese having little ones in mid-May. Although, nothing, absolutely nothing seemed open, it was a beautiful spot for real R & R. Bus 34 is very convenient for going one way to Disneyland Paris or the other way to Val d’Europe shopping. One does get a part of their daily number of steps in just walking to the entrance gate! Building designs definitely make it look like a French village and not a hotel. Just beautiful. Loved the “Giverny” look but stayed at “Le Lac”. PS—Golf course surrounds the village.

This is our 3rd visit to this hotel over the last 10 years, it is a lovely, friendly, quiet place to visit. We visited in August, the gym was limited to certain hours, onsite shops etc closed. Outside pool open with good system, 2 hours per day by pool, never had an issue in the whole week getting sun-beds by the pool. Lovely little walks around resort, playgrounds for kids open, BBQ's in use. We did remote check in, and did not see any reception staff on our whole stay. The pool staff very friendly. We stayed in 2 bedroom town house, very clean, with hand santisers available in town houses, good size units, with patio area to sit around in the evenings. Main bus stop walking distance to get to local places ( Disneyland). We walked to little village and ate at local restaurants, ideally you need a car when visiting this resort although you can easily get bus. Small local convience store 5-10 min walk, larger shopping centre within 10 minute drive. Drove to Reims approx an hour, and visited Palace fo Versailles, again about 1 hour drive. Would definitely visit again.

We were in the neighborhood -- riding a bus between our hotel and Disney Paris -- and a quick stop into the Marketplace there was enough of a treat for us to decide to visit again one day in the future.

We were planning a couple of days in the area to go to Disneyland Paris, and this place is only a few minutes' drive from the park. Also, as we had a rental car, parking was great here - we had a place right in front of the townhome where we stayed. The complex is gated, and there is shopping and restaurants very quick drive, or 10-minute walk, from the complex. The townhouse was very comfortable, and if you are looking for an American-style place to stay, with large rooms, large appliances, and a very clean and nice atmosphere, this is the place for you. Also, the pool was really nice for relaxing after a long day at Disneyland Paris.

After a good journey from Le Shuttle Calais we arrived at The Resort. We stayed in a pretty 2 bed spacious house with a nice patio and garden. It was so nice to be greeted in the mornings by the ducks. We would like to have had our own sun loungers as the wrought iron chairs (especially not having cushions) were a bit uncomfortable. We were fortunate to have a brick built BBQ in the garden that we used a few times. What we liked about the BBQ was that you called reception and they would deliver to your house a pre packed immaculately clean grill and when you finished with it, we placed it back in the bag from them to collect it, no scrubbing BBQ’s for us on our holiday! The kitchen as always is well equipped with a large fridge and medium size freezer. The beds were very comfortable with loads of wardrobe space in the bedroom. We feel that the bathrooms and kitchen in particular could have a facelift. It hadn’t changed in the past 5 years since we were last there. Everywhere was spotless with lots of Covid19 measures in place throughout the Resort. We felt extremely comfortable. The staff were very attentive around the swimming pool. We were given a 2 hour slot at the pool. Then you could re queue again which didn’t take very long. This allowed staff to sanitizer each bed before the next guests arrived. Due to Covid19 the indoor pool was closed but fortunately the weather was very hot and we could be outside. There were nice walks around the lake and as our daughter son in law and little grandchildren 6 and 8 yrs old stayed in the house next door. We could meet each other in the garden. There were lots of play areas around for the grandchildren to enjoy. We would definitely go back to this Resort again. Hopefully the restaurant and bar will be open and this awful Covid19 strange times will be over. Stay safe and well everyone! Marilyn C
