I stayed here with a boyfriend about 8 years or so ago. It was brilliant. We only stayed one night but it was amazing as the food was delicious with the company, wonderful. Really peaceful and clean accommodation. I would definitely stay here again one day and I am glad it is still operating. (I said we travelled in June...

We stayed here for three nights in December and were made to feel really at home by Robert and Jenny. Superb accommodation with breakfast delivered to our door each morning, shared with a semi-tame wallaby who fed from our hands. We had one evening meal cooked by Robert and it was tasty and memorable. They are a well travelled couple...

Absolutely fabulous. Only three apartments which are much more like cottages attached to the main house - so private. Sitting Room with wood burning stove//dining and small kitchen. Large bedroom and great bathroom. Robert is the best chef ever and would wipe out anyone else on Masterchef. Food and presentation superb. Jenny is his wife and both do everything possible...

Kemeys is an absolute delight. We are used to living in a city apartment. This was the ultimate tranquil breath of fresh air. Situated way off the beaten track, you will feel a million miles from the city surrounded by serene nature. We felt so removed from the bustle, and were enjoying such sound sleeps that we took the Monday...

You can even get up close to wild wallabies and see the baby joeys as they emerge from the pouch - as i had the pleasure of last time i stayed....

Staying with Jenny and Robert is a bit like staying with your grandparents - if your grandparents owned a lovely mountain escape. It was a very peaceful & lovely place to spend some time away from the rat-race. Robert's meals are very nice. Stayed 2 nights & my only complaints being that there was no hot water on the night...

Hi TravelDoey Thank you for taking the time to write a Trip Advisor review on Kemeys Mountain Hideaway and referring to our property as a peaceful lovely mountain escape. We certainly think so as well and we have very much loved running our accommodation business for the last 20years and living in such a wonderful forest environment. We are disappointed...

While on a road trip through New South Wales, we'd been staying in mostly cheap motels. After staying in one in Armidale that was very pokey, we felt like a bit of a change. We'd been planning our next nights' stays on the fly and were due to enter the Lake Macquarie region the next day, so had a look...

Spent one night. Outstanding, What more can I say. The hosts are lovely and friendly without being obtrusive. The tennis court suite was wonderfully fitted out with a great veranda on which my new fiancé and I had a magnificent 3 course dinner served to us. Breakfast was plentiful and scrumptious. I can't recommend Kemeys highly enough and cannot wait...
