Whenever we visit our son and his family in Devon, we stay at the Spinney. It's beautifully clean, in a lovely country location and the breakfasts are superb and home cooked! Joe and David are wonderfully warm and welcoming and you have the freedom to come and go as you please.

Spinney Country House B&B is a delightfully peaceful 260 year old home just 10 minutes north of downtown Barnstaple in Devon. Jo Clark and her husband David have been laboring furiously the past six years updating and improving this marvelous old house. Beds are comfy, parking is on site, albeit tight, and the grounds are lovely. Cannot speak for all...

This is a wonderful old house with every modern amenity you require. The bedroom has a really comfortable bed and although there is a road outside we didn't experience any noise from it, so slept very well. The full Devon breakfast is delicious , with homemade bread and marmalade and really set us up for the day. Jo and David...
