Here you will find French tradition and elegance with an international slant - Marielle lived in the US for some years. One feels that both she and Francois enjoy having guests. Breakfast is copious, and dinner [probably necessary to reserve in advance] is always delicious. The bedrooms are individually attractive. Aperitifs in the courtyard re a welcome bonus after a...

Stayed there with two friends whilst travelling from northern Spain to Caen on motorbikes. The 'house' is amazing albeit with wonky floors and a variety of unusual features. The hosts were utterly charming and along with two other French folk we had a wonderful evening meal discussing Brexit! If you want old world charm with wonderful hospitality, excellent food and...

It has been a realy charming experience. The lady of the house is passionate about here family house which she restored nicely! On top of that she is also inspired about classical music, so if you are a musician or you love music this is the place to be. We were here when she was hosting a musicians, just organised...

This would have to be the best stay I have had in a B&B either in France or in any other country I have stayed. I stayed with my wife and family members during late June to early July 2015. Marielle and François are to be congratulated on their excellent level of service to their guests, their support of the...

We stayed here at the beginning of August, on our way home, and had a wonderful time which has stayed with me and prompted this review. Despite a broken ankle, Marielle decided against the easy option we had agreed on and treated us to the specialities of the area, ably aided by Francois. I wish we hadn't forgotten his salad!...

We stumbled across this Peaceful, historic village and found the superb Longchamps by chance and a stroke of luck. Francois and Marielle are the nicest people and best of hosts. Superb local fare prepared by Marielle was a highlight, (oh the sorbet and duck!) but the rich history of the village and their family was an insight that we were...

An unexpected and delightful stay with an especially warm welcome by hosts MARIELLE and FRANCOIS. This fine property is a little difficult to find (just up the hill on the left in a square), as it is not immediately evident from the outside that you are there. Walk through the wooden door and you are transported to a genuinely delightful...

We spent 3 nights here in early May, exploring an area that we had not previously visited. Treignac is a charming town and the surrounding area is beautiful. Maison Grandchamp is lovely and Francois, our host, was charming and very helpful (his wife Marielle was away at the time of our visit). We would definitely stay here again.

Maison Grand Champ is within the ancient quarter of the beautiful town of Treignac, which looks out above the River Vezere. We went to stay in the town of Treignac, because it is close to many sights in the Correze, and my husband and I were going to look at a property as a possible second home that was in...
