This chateau looks impressive but our "superior" room overlooked the rear courtyard outbuildings and was not particularly well appointed. Staff were courteous but not hugely welcoming. This is a wonderful chateau set on a working dairy farm in a beautiful valley. Quaint doesn't begin to describe this place. The food is outstanding and the service couldn't be better. I've stayed there three times and loved it each time.
