When passing you really wouldn't give this place a second look, on first impressions from the road as you pass, it appears to be a pub frequented by aging ex pats playing pool with young thai ladies which can give the wrong impression. But look deeper, there is a Trattoria further back and OMG their food is delicious, from starters to mains your taste buds are really given a wonderful treat. Beer is cold and great, the service is first class.

We had come to the restaurant with Italian friends in the past and thought we would give it another try. The food was very disappointing - unripe melon with the Parma ham, undercooked pasta with a totally bland sauce (the pasta was basically inedible) and cold, sour red wine (the only one they had). The pizza was ok but nothing brilliant. It is rare to get bad food in Thailand, but here you have it!

I cannot evaluate the hotel because I never stayed there but they have definitely the BEST PIZZA in the whole area! It is simply adorable! I am German and have been to Italy many times but this high quality pizza is hard to find. Carry on Luca! 😉👍👍👍👍 I recommend the pizza with stracchino, black olives and pesto..... yummie!!

I fell in love with the lasagna. It was really really good! Pizza was also tasty. It was the only real “italian” pizza we had during our trip in two weeks. We paid 390 baht for lasagna and 380 for pizza. Yes, it’s expensive but totally worth it if you really need a break from thai food.

If you need a break from Thai food and you like Italian this is the best choice at Surin beach 😀 we had bruschetta and pizza - super - the red wine by glass was fine too and tasted Italian . Moreover there were 4 Italian expats for dinner - so it must be good 🙃

Expensive? Who cares. You avoided a trip to Italy and got pizza as good as any I’ve had in Naples or elsewhere! The Carbonara was excellent as well. The Caesar Salad was tasty, if not the traditional dressing I prefer. I love Thai food but needed a break. If Italian and unbelievable pizza is what you’re looking for, you can’t go wrong at Surin Sweet Pizza.

The building and everything is old. More disappointingly, the water of the pool wasn't clean and thee pool was one of the reasons why we booked. There are also big antennas on the roof I believe are base stations which is bad for human health. You may see the photos I uploaded. The beach is not as near as you might think but it is in walkable distance and you can hear the waves on a windy day. I don't know about the food but we were paid 90 bahts for a glass of juice from a juice box (not fresh or anything) while a small bottle of beer cost for 80 bahts. The receptionist / manager lady was helpful and nice. The hotel hires out motorcycles.

This restaurant, attached to the Surin Sweet Hotel, serves great pizza direct from the pizza oven. We ate there loads over a 5 week stretch. We came to know it from the happy hour offering of 60 baht Beer from 6-8, and stayed for dinner. The pasta was delicious and always cooked to perfection! We spent a lot of time here and will again. The pizza & pasta was the best we had in Surin beach! The owner/chef is Italian.

Just back from the Surin Sweet Pizzeria and what an awesome dinner we had. Surin Sweet has a nice little chilled out bar out front with a pool table and good music, we stopped in for a couple of drinks before going elsewhere for dinner but the smell of pizza drew us in and we were not disappointed! Service couldn’t be faulted in either the bar or restaurant and the pizzas were made fresh on site with homemade dough and a pizza oven. The base was delicious and the toppings were fresh and tasty too with plenty to choose from. The prices were a little bit more expensive than the Thai food we’ve had the past few nights but Thai food is always cheaper here and the food we had tonight was well the little extra we paid!

The room are quite old. We was at the third floor without lift!! On the roof there are 3 big Mobile-antennas I don't know about radiations). In our room the air-condition machine was old model and noising in the night. As I wrote the room is re-painted but old, and despite of that everywhere in the room there are warnings (you will find pictures attached) for the guests. They treat you as a child, it seems to be in a young hostel....."if you break this pay ....bats, you you break that pay.....bats, if you loose the key with the light on you pay.....bats. And soon on for everything is in the room. I'm not a child and this is offensive!! In the lobby there is an incredible warning "Payment by credit card will be additional +3% charge BY BANK"!!!!.......credit cards and banks don't do this......this is only an extra charge from the owner!! Unbelievable!! In the lobby there is a good restaurant and pizza in the wood-oven!! The beach is in front of the hotel......you must walk 200 meters!
