We visited both islands, staying in 17 different locations, but I could have stayed in a thousand more and still not found a place more wonderful, relaxing, stunning or welcoming than Wharetutu. We arrived on a drizzly evening to very warm welcome by Jenny and Stan. The accommodation was first class, spotlessly clean and home from home comforts . We... More

We spent two nights at Wharetutu, a modern home high on a hill with sweeping mountain views. The guests wing has not only two well appointed bedrooms, but it's own lounge and separate dining room. The village of Tasman is quite close but not walking distance while townships with local restaurants/cafés are a 10 minute drive. The swimming pool captures... More

This is an amazing place :-). We were so lucky to spend 3 nights here and we would highly recommend this place to anyone driving by or past towards Abel Tasman National Park. Stan and Jenny were great hosts and ever so helpful, doing anything they could to help us (which was a lot seeing as we don't drive). Breakfast... More

We loved everything about our stay at Wharetutu. The B&B is beautiful with spectacular views and designed for privacy in the bedrooms, but then has ample areas for guests to relax (pool, patio, tv room/lounge, kitchenette). In addition to the wonderful accommodation, the hosts, Jenny and Stan, were so welcoming and helpful. They went out of there way to make... More

This is the 3rd time we have stayed with these delightful people and they always exceed expectations.their hospitality is 2nd to none, sumptuous breakfasts with a great choice and varied menu. Ideally situated for a stop before going to Abel Tasman approximately 2.5 hours from The Picton Ferry. Heated swimming pool with views to die for. The only downside was... More

We spent two delightful nights at this beautiful purpose built B&B in Upper Moutere. We were warmly greeted by our hostess Jenny and were shown to our lovely room which opened on to a very private terrace. Happy and well-nourished, we arrive at Wharetutu B&B. Beautifully set on two acres of landscaped gardens and olive grove, this entirely black-coloured mansion has uninterrupted views of mountains, the estuary, vineyards, orchards, and open countryside. Unfortunately, it’s already too cold to have a swim in the pool or relax in the hot tub, but we enjoy a BBQ in the... More
