We stayed recently for 9 nights in one of the rooms in the jungle loft building. The 2nd floor room was very modern with a beautiful ceramic tile floor and a good size private bath. Everything was also extremely clean. The jungle lift elevator is slow so we appreciated the alternative ladder to access our room at times. There are...

I would like to respond to "Jungle nightmare's" review. Just this: Have you ever thought about the logistics of living in the jungle and serving your needs? Not easy. I have been to Calico Jack's and it is lovely and the owners truly care that everyone has a great experience. Sure, it's annoying to have your fajitas take a long...

What a great vacation! We wanted an experience that was completely different from the usual vacations and we found the greatest place! Transportation to the village was very timely since we gave them all the details of our ETA and just driving through the jungle was amazing. Our stay was wonderful and relaxing. The zipline was awesome! The staff was...

This is the third time in 4 years that I have stayed at Calico Jack's and it is a pleasure to see the development of this lovely property. This time I stayed in the jungle loft the newest building that has a cool jungle lift. My room was clean and comfortable and there is a common room to which one...

We were told to call when we got on the bus so that they could meet us at the bus stop, our previous host did that for us, after waiting around for 20 minutes at the bus stop we had to buy a phone card for an individual to be able to call them. On the ride in we received...

It is no surprise to us that our property was not the “cup of tea” for these guests. And they were not a good fit for us as they appeared not to have understood from our advertising that we are located in the jungle and in a small rural village without government or private provision of basic utilities. This, notwithstanding,...

Getting to Calico Jacks from the Airport is worth the 2.5 hour drive. You know part or all of your stay in Belize, is going to be in the jungle, so why not stay in the middle of the jungle, on a private 365 acre resort, with all the adventures you dream of in one place. Calico jacks is located...

My husband, myself, and two of our friends shared a jungle villa for 3 days at Calico Jacks. CJ is off the beaten path, but worth the tranquility you will find, if that's what you're looking for. The final few miles to the resort is a rough dirt road, which we drove on for about 35 minutes once we left...

I ate at Calico Jack's with three colleagues of mine on November 3, 2016. The dining room was clean, well-lit and welcoming. We were in a hurry, so we did the boring thing and ordered nachos. They were pretty good. The trouble with chips in Belize is that they are rarely dry and crisp. I have ordered Nachos at probably...

My husband I came here on my honeymoon. They sent someone to pick us up from our resort in San Ignacio and took us straight to the zipline start where we began the CJV extreme tour. We had 2 excellent tour guides and were the only ones in the group. We didn't see anyone around so it felt like a...

Calico Jack's Village is an amazing place. Located in the heart of the rainforest where one can experience the sights, sounds and sensations of the jungle; it provides an extraordinary, full-service jungle resort experience. The accomodations were very nice, the staff was outstanding (helpful, fun, engaging, up-beat, personable) and the food was delicious. In addition, the staff was extremely helpful...
