I have all but good things to say about our 6 night stay. The apartment was clean, spacious, quiet and very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped to make our own meals and included a BBQ which we utilized. Bacon, eggs, tomatoes, museli, coffee, orange juice and delicious homemade bread and homemade jams was provided daily to cook our own...

Thank you for your great review and a big thank you for your "rain dance" which brought some much needed rain but it was short lived so another dance would be very much appreciated!

Our family stayed at this B&B for three nights. Our initial impression from the internet was good. Then........ after negotiating a gravel driveway with several large potholes....We arrived. We were shown that the 'Easter Bunny' had left 4 chocolate eggs for us. This was a lovely gesture but it was then followed by our host telling us about the previous...

I am really sorry to hear you were disappointed with your stay at Cornwall Cottage as I am very passionate about my business and go out of my way to provide what I hope will be a pleasant stay for all my guests. When you first arrived I showed you through the cottage and you were so pleased to see...

This B & B is more of a small apartment, it has a very small kitchenette, dining and lounge area,2 bedrooms and a large bathroom . Peta ( the host ) supplies fresh baked bread , and bacon & eggs etc for breakfast which you cook yourselves. As is most often the case it is the B & B host that...

Thank you for your great review. In the past 6 months some new food businesses have opened in the Coal River Valley and I have visited them all and can certainly agree with your comments. Hope you can make a return visit to Cornwall Cottage and revisit some of the wonderful eateries in the area.

We stayed two nights in this delightful B&B and were entirely happy with our choice. There are two generous bedrooms, a sitting room, bathroom and separate toilet. The kitchen is a bit pokey but quite workable and adequately stocked. Everything is clean and well maintained by the owner, Peta, who is a charming hostess. The 'cottage' is actually one end...

The best accommodation we found on our Tasmania holiday. For 3 days we explored Hobart, Port Arthur and Richmond and came to what felt like home each day We could fault nothing from the beautiful setting looking over the countryside, accommodation very clean and roomy, lovely thoughtful people and fresh breakfast ingredients.

Spacious bed and breakfast which only accept one booking at a time - making you the king of the bed and breakfast. Location is somewhat outside the city center but it is easily reachable by 15 minutes drive. I would grade this b&b "B+".

For some reason some Tourism web sites group all accommodation within a 20km radius of the Hobart CBD in with "Hobart and Surrounds" which may give the impression that they are actually close to the city centre. Unless visitors need to be in Hobart Cornwall Cottage is ideally located to explore all the attractions the South has to offer whilst...

I believe my son summed the whole experience up by saying to us. "We were lucky to find this place" with a big smile on his face and a shine in his eyes. The cottage is more than what you expect. We loved the setup, the location and the hosts. A very personal and friendly touch made the experience so...

Thank you for posting your review. It was a pleasure to meet your family and we enjoyed having your son help feed the hens, move the sheep and help with feeding the horses. Hope to see you again in the future.

My friend and I have just had 3 tranquil days at Cornwall Cottage. Nothing was lacking, the accommodation, facilities and breakfast provisions were great. Peta was an excellent host and nothing was too much trouble for her and she had excellent knowledge of and advice on local attractions. I Would thoroughly recommend this accommodation to anyone.

The setting was beautiful and the accommodation very clean and attractive. It was a lovely place to stay for our first 4 days in Tasmania. Peta was helpful and provided us with fresh breakfast ingredients -but it was abit of a hassle to cook it in such a small kitchen.

We (myself, husband and my elderly mother) stayed for 4 nights at lovely Cornwall Cottage with its fabulous setting. From the living area we looked out over views of mountain, water, vineyards and a big sky. The accommodation was spacious, comfortable and attractive and Peta was an excellent host, really looking after us as if we were family members. Her...
