Agnes was the hostess with the most! She was a fountain of information and playing with her little French-doll grandbaby was a plus. We have stayed in many historic places in Europe over the years, but none like this! You have to experience it - words just does not do it justice. As most of the reviews states, it is...

Booked 2 nights at the start of our travels around Normandy. This was great for location for exploring the omah beaches and local attractions, all a short drive away. Was great to come back after a long day and relax with cider produced by the owners son, worth a taste they sell from the accommodation. Agnes the owner was lovely,...

We found this place on Air B&B but booked directly. Agnes and Francois are gracious hosts and the countryside is a perfect pastoral setting. We arrived late evening and were escorted up ancient stone stairs to our room in the "new" section. Back in the courtyard, Francois pointed out the year 1672 carved into the stonework of the new wing!...

We had a lovely stay in the Rosy Room overlooking the apple orchard. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The private bathroom was perfect with a nice large shower. Agnes, the hostess, speaks very good English and is very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was delicious with many local and homemade choices. The location is good for exploring the...

My adult cousin and I spent 3 nights here in September and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I booked directly with Agnes, the French proprietor who speaks good English. It is in a very quiet rural setting but easy to find and a convenient location to explore D day beaches, Bayeux and surrounds. We also did a day trip to Mont...

Nice B&B with friendly people at a nice remote location yet close to villages and restaurants. The lady of the house is very accommodating. We had a pleasant stay and the people are friendly. Our room (The Navy room) was spacious but noisy (you hear people speak through the wall especially the adjacent office) and very damp. The breakfast is...

Staying in this 17th century manor (with it's attached 13th century chapel) was great! This history of the grounds - which date back to the 5th century - were fascinating. The location is great - especially for those interested in the D-Day and battles for Normandy tours. This establishment is highly recommended!

To be a true Manoir you had to have your own chapel, and a building, normally round, in which you kept your carrier pigeons as well as being a working farm. This collection of wonderful buildings takes you back to those times. Built on the site of a castle, the present buildings date back to 1676. Although it is out...

We had a lovely stay here while visiting the D-Day beaches and museums. Agnes is a great hostess and the house is charming. We enjoyed reading about the history of the manor in the material provided in our room. We stayed in the room on the top floor with the loft. It was a large room with many thoughtful amenities....

To give you an idea of how lovely this B&B is, we still remembered it after 11 years, when we stayed here the first time. We were thrilled to find it was still there and under the same charming ownership, so we had to return on this trip. Agnes is so helpful and friendly, and the ancient manor house is...
