Private celebration Sunday dinner for 14. Had a lounge to ourselves for pre-dinner drinks. A17 month year old catered for with a high chair. Dinner in a private room around a large oval dining table. All comfortably seated. Good range of choices put together on menu. Good food. French doors opening onto gardens for photos. It was everything one could...

A stunningly situated and very well run, traditional country house hotel. Beautiful views, excellent service, very good food and extremely comfortable ambience, plus it's also good value. The wood-panelled bar/lounge is a particular highlight, although a slightly larger range of drinks would be good.

Stayed here for one night for a birthday. The hotel is hidden up a long lane, and a delight to see at the end of the drive. Beautiful building and immaculate gardens. The staff extremely friendly. Our room was spacious with period decor and a modern bathroom. Beautiful white towels. Lovely crisp clean linen. Our evening meal was so lovely....

Just back from our one night stay at Burleigh Court and apart from a couple of really small niggles that are too insignificant to mention we cannot wait to revisit. Our room in the main house was well appointed and very spacious. Bathroom was snug but adequate. Shower was hot and powerful which is always appreciated. We dined in the...

All the staff were welcoming, helpful and attentive. Dinner and Breakfast were served in the charming Dining Room. Food was excellent and plentiful and the choice of...

We stayed here (sadly as we were attending a funeral) for two nights. We were in one of the annexe rooms which was very comfortable and had a separate sitting area although the ensuite bathroom was a bit tired and only offered a shower over the bath. The views from the terrace are magnificent and we had an excellent breakfast...

Wow, what can I say? We found this place as a last minute booking for our wedding anniversary. After a difficult summer we needed somewhere to get away and relax, and not too far away - surprised to find this little gem 3 miles from home! We arrived around 4.30pm and wandered into the bar where we were greeted with...

We stayed in the Burleigh Court Hotel this weekend when we were visiting relatives. We had actually spent a night here about 30 years ago and did not know whether it would be possible if the hotel would live up to our expectations. From the minute we arrived the staff could not have been more helpful. Burleigh Court is set in...

We have stayed here several times in winter and summer, we like that although a 'posh' hotel it's very relaxing and the staff very friendly and nothing too much trouble. This stay we had a courtyard room looking out on the pool ( and I went swimming along with the previous reviewer!), lovely in the sun in the afternoon to...

A beautiful hotel in a stunning location, this is our second visit, using it as a place to meet up for family from Cornwall, Kent and Derbyshire - the staff couldn't have been more helpful, the atmosphere is so peaceful, the rooms beautiful with lovely fluffy towels, the food excellent and the pool .. refreshing!
