Beautiful place, absolutely stunning. Friendly and helpful staff. Great food and wine. Pool is perfect. 4/5 stars, to get 5 stars the should serve the red wine tempered and not at 28 Celsius. But never mind, this place and the staff will take your heart
This is a very well appointed modern hotel. All the rooms are en-suite with a dressing area and a terrace with a view over the local countryside. The breakfasts are amazing, with lots of choices. If you are a cake or cheese lover you will be in heaven. The staff are very attentive and friendly and made our stay feel very special. The local area is very interesting with two small towns within walking distance, and many more a short car journey away. Our trip included meals in the restaurant next door, which again were very good.
The hotel is a smart modern design. It was spotlessly clean and both the staff and management were all excellent. It would be wrong to name the staff individually but they were brilliant. Making my stay very memorable. The breakfast Cover all needs and eaten on the veranda with views of the distant mountain give an unforgettable experience. On top of that the owners have a lovely pet dog Zoe who greats you when you return from a day’s walking.
This was our 5th stay in Hotel Ca´del Lupo and we will come back next time in Piemonte. Very nice, helpful and friendly staff. Nice rooms with a great view. The restaurant are serving good food by nice staff. A very good base for visiting this amazing area.
We´ve been here a couple of times, a couple of years ago and now again in july/aug of 2019 - and it is such a wonderful experience in every way possible. A beautiful place, with a truly stunning view!
This hotel has a wonderful location with great views over the vineyards. Breakfast is just great. One of the best I've experienced. Staff is really friendly and rooms are clean. During our stay there were some problems with the air-conditioning, so the rooms were a bit warm, but I guess that is normally not the case. The restaurant that belongs to the hotel serves good local dishes. Overall a wonderful stay and would definitely come again!
We stayed for 4 nights in August and had an enjoyable stay. The location is wonderful with sweeping views of the Piedmont countryside and beautiful blue skies! It is also easy to get to other places of interest close by like Alba, La Morra, Barolo etc. The swimming pool area was also great and was often empty during the day until people came back from trips out at around 16.00. Very quiet and tranquil, with a real mix of families, couples and nationalities. Two points to note: when we were there there were a lot of wasps by the pool. More an annoyance than anything else and the rooms while adequate were a little plain and in need of an upgrade. Overall a very nice stay.
The people are great, the rooms modern and appealing, the view is outstanding, and the breakfast generous. The location could not be better as it is close to Alba but in the countryside. I recommend this place to any Piedmont visitor.
Wow! We had a hard time finding a place to stay for a few days of wine exploring in the region with 2 boys, 9 & 12 yrs. Pool was a must! And this was just the best place! What a view!! We got a very nice room (26) bottom floor just on the pool level. We stayed 3 nights and enjoyed every second we spent at the hotel! The staff is great with kids and they got some nice gifts during the stay and check out. The staff had some really nice tips on restaurants in the neighbourhood and some of our best experiences in Italy was due to these recommendations! We loved the place and will for sure be back! Oh, dont miss the breakfast whatever you do..;-)
We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay here. The hotel is a great base for exploring the area - it’s a 20 minute drive to the Barolo region and to Alba, and a 30 minute drive to the Barbaresco region. The hotel is modern and our room was spacious, clean and quiet. Amazing views from both our balcony and the breakfast restaurant. The breakfast was the best we’ve had in 3 weeks in Italy. Make sure you enquire about dinner at the restaurant itself. We found out when trying to book that there was a wedding in it one night and then was closed the next day (Sunday). This was disappointing as we would’ve gone on our first night had we known so make sure you check as soon as you arrive if you want to dine there!
