This pub is situated in an attractive village and has Superb Staff, Lovely room with a fire. Excellent advice on the Real Ale. Super winter food-Venison was great. A thoroughly enjoyable winter evening.

Friendly welcome, attentive service throughout. Plenty of seating, at least on a weekday lunchtime. Excellent selection of food at reasonable prices. Good lunchtime package at £15 for two courses and £20 for three. Absence of parking could be a snag at busy times.
