Returning to where it all began. We discovered that the pub where the wife and i went to on our first date has now been extended to become an Hotel. The Crown remains much as we remembered it,a Charming Welcoming Cosy village Inn, with a variety of real ales on sale at the bar, and all set in Stunning surroundings....

This beautiful, quaint, traditional and very old pub sits quietly in a remote and splendid landscape overlooking a deep lush valley. The views are excellent from the pub garden which has lots of seating to enjoy the view in a well maintained garden. The staff are lovely, friendly and helpful and add to the calm relaxed atmosphere of the pub...

Very friendly pub, with good atmosphere and staff always have a smile on their face and nothing was too much trouble. They are happy for you to take your dog in the pub and the sitting area outside is nice and relaxing with lovely views. The rooms were very spacious, clean bright and airy. Carpets looked new and the bathroom...

This was a stop-over for our travels further south and it was a welcome place for the six of us to rest. We received a friendly check in and an efficient rearrangement of rooms at our request. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, although a little dated in their decor - a modern facelift would do the trick. This inn...

We dropped in to The Crown Inn briefly while looking at houses in the area. We took a quick lunch with just a scallops starter which was delicious. The main menu looks great and we'll certainly return when we have more time. A great old English pub in a great location with great food ... happiness.

We stayed here while walking the Thames and Severn Path, while it's a bit of a walk up from the path it's definitely worth it. The setting is outstanding with beautiful views. The lady who checked us in was friendly and attentive, she mentioned when we checked in that they were might not have a table in the restaurant for...

Superb location so peaceful looking out over the countryside. Real country pub very welcoming staff really friendly. Food was excellent really tasty I had the sausage and mash and could not fault it. Nice selection of beers and wine and a great garden to sit in had the weather been kinder. Would definitely return.

We had some friends who wanted to tour the Cotswolds and stay near Cirencester - The Crown sprung to mind immediately as the setting is second to none, the atmosphere inside is more pub than hotel which we like because so many pubs have become gastro-pubs. We were greeted by Laura - a lovely friendly welcome and she made us...
