The hotel looks amazing outside. The pool is merged with the sea so the view is really beautiful. Inside though it's a little bit disappointing. The rooms are pretty basic, there is even no shelf for the soap in the shower which is really uncomfortable. The air conditioner is controlled from the reception which is a little weird I should...

Santa Tecla is a holiday hotel situated in an excellent location on the water’s edge in the immediate outskirts of Acireale. You need a car to stay here but the hotel grounds provide ample car parking space. Particularly due to its location, the hotel is ok to spend some Summer holidays exploring the Sicilian coast and enjoying its clear blue...

I stayed here as part of a tour in September 2015. Although part of the hotel has been upgraded, we were put in the old half of the hotel. This was very shabby and dated and not that clean either - lots of mould in the shower. The first room we were given only had one light bulb working and...

A nice place with a beautiful pool. Sea bathing is also good. The place you shouldn't stay at without a car. You can't rent an automate car, so take it into consideration if you don't want to travel by taxi. Taxi is expensive. You pay per number of passengers. A round trip to Catania and backwards cost 150 euro for...

External walls are of contrasting...

The hotel looks very nice from the outside, it's in a lovely location and has a great view. Free parking on site too. The staff is polite and friendly, especially in the hotel restaurant. I stayed there 3 times during the year on business trips and unfortunately every time there was something in my room which didn't work - light...

It's like being in a 5-star hotel with 3-star aspirations. The structure is elegant, with airy public rooms and spacious, spotlessly clean comfortable bedrooms all with deep balconies to keep the mediterranean sun from beating in. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Maintenance problems were dealt with quickly and efficiently when any of our group reported a small problem. BUT. First...

We spent a five days vacation at this beautiful hotel. But we arrived at noon, we wanted to eat something, but the hotel doesn't have room service, so there was nothing to eat, the area where the hotel is located, was also sleeping. So no open restaurants. It is better to book an hotel in Catania or Taormina It's a...
