I stayed at this hotel on st Patrick's day with s friend. It's located very close to the metrocentre & was easy to find. Directly outside the hotel is KFC, tgi Fridays & some other places to eat. The holiday inn express is also located at the same place. On arrival the receptionist was the friendliest I've met & so...

Very comfortable rooms. Lovely comfy bed and the staff were very friendly we had just a one night stay but we're very pleased also it was quite near to the Sage concert hall. No need for taxis! Lovely little cafe which unfortunately we didn't use

Have stayed at Travelodge before and would do so again but would not ask for the disabled room to be made as a twin (as is offered and we needed as I was sharing with my disabled teenage son) since it is a 5' bed split ...not good, and I am quite short and not too bulky!! It would have...

We travelled to Newcastle to visit our granddaughter who is studying at the university there. It was our first stay with Travelodge and I have to say it was a pleasurable one too. We were greeted by Gemma who was very welcoming and helpful the room was of a very good standard and had a very comfortable night's sleep when...

Not too far from Newcastle. Walked to metro centre in about 12 minutes along cycle path. All staff and people of Newcastle very friendly and proud of their city. Lots to do and great nights out. Abundance of places to eat.

We have stayed at this Travelodge on numerous occasions, this is our favourite Travelodge (we have tried many in the Newcastle area) staying here at least three or four times a year when we visit our eldest, who now lives in Fenham. The staff are always friendly and very helpful, tea/coffee facilities are always replenished on a daily basis with...

My friends and I stay here regularly when visiting Newcastle. The hotel itself is in Gateshead but only a short taxi into town (approx £6-£8 depending on the time of day). The reason we stay here is that it's much cheaper than the hotels in the city centre and offers free parking. It has a TGI's beside it which is...
