We stayed with Jan and Dave last August having left our boat in Port Bail. Dave picked us up with our bikes and we cycled around the area for 3 days. The B&B is clean and homely and we enjoyed sitting in their garden and eating on the terrace. Jan's cooking is FABULOUS - we would have put on pounds...

Many thanks for your kind words. We enjoyed having you to stay. Pity your latest trip over was scuppered by the weather; hope to see you when the summer finally appears.

If you are visiting Normandy , you will love Le Mesnil - down to earth and very hospitable owners in Jan and Dave and their Fox Terrier , Milly . You would think Jan was a French trained chef with the quality and variety of her rustic french cuisine , we had great dinners , they are two really lovely...

Jan and Dave run a lovely historical B&B in Creances, Normandy. Close to fabulous unspoiled beaches, Le Mesnil is a great base for a relaxing break. We had a week there over Easter and the food was absolutely superb, great value for money and a lovely historical building. I took advantage of a painting lesson whilst there and have found...

My daugther and I scheduled to stay at this B&B on the first couple of nights of our travels in France. I was coming from the US and met my daughter at CDG as she flew in from Vienna where she is studying this term. My daughter has some dietary restrictions: lactose and gluten intollerant and a vegetarian. I arranged...

We had cycled that afternoon from Cherbourg when I managed to have a bit of an embarrassing bike accident in Lessay (embarrassing as it was a tiny kerb that I had managed to trip my bike over resulting in a massive black eye and road rash on my face!!!). Dave kindly came out to pick us up from the accident...

We stayed for three nights at Le Mesnil de Creances. Jan and Dave were welcoming and very kind hosts. They made our stay very relaxing. The food was great - make sure you book in for at least one of Jan's evening meals. Good food, good wine and good company. A highly recommended place to stay.

My partner, parents and I spent two night at Le Mesnil in July. Jan and Dave were extremely welcoming, as was their dog. The 12th century house has a real sense of history and is in a beautiful area. All our rooms were comfortable and clean. Jan and Dave recommended a lovely local château to explore, as well as nearby...
