Very Nice and Romantic place To Stay... Given the low web presence of this place, I was a bit nervous to book here, but I shouldn't have been! I booked on Agoda.com and everything was ready when we arrived. We were even helped with our bags. Staff asked us what we wanted for breakfast (toast, fried rice or fried noodles)...

The cottages are quite basic, can accommodate up to 4 persons per cottage. Don't try to squeeze 5 adults + 1 toddler in, not at all comfortable. Facilities are ok though the shower could use a new shower curtain (moldy). Kitchenette is fine. I found the bed very uncomfortable. It cracked with every turn and the matrass cover wasn't tightly...

We stayed here on a weekend trip to Batu. There were total of 9 of us. The cottage that we booked was the biggest size, with 2 bedroom, and we added extra beds. The architectural style of the cottage was rather unique, Torajan style house (staff told me that the owner is from Toraja). The location was quiet and peaceful....

We stayed at Pondok Alamanda for the weekend. The bungalows are on stilts, with unique design that resembles traditional houses in Sumatra. There's a space to park your car under the bungalow, and one small room with a rather comfy bed for your driver or maid there too. We were given the bungalow just right above the lobby :-) The...
