Can't complain of the island-- it was beautiful even if it were challenging at times to reach a certain destination. Management just took in a lot of guests that day and boy, did the restrooms stink! There were a couple of times that toilet paper ran out and the serving staff were running around the whole time, obvious that they...

Awesome service and very nice rooms, money well spent on this island resort. We were well taken cared by the resort's attentive staff inspite of the rainy weather and rough seas crossing from mainland to the island and back. The buffet spread has significantly improved since I last visited the place.

Nothing grand, our priority was just really to bond & relax. But it offered enough activities for us too. The trekking path was interesting, there's the lighthouse, the view, the fort, the cave, the marine sanctuary...it equals ADVENTURE! Though it was a series of unfortunate events for us at the start... service was truly frustrating & disappointing! But as I...

I was really excited for my stay at the Bluewater Sumilon Island Resort because of the fact that there is only one single resort on the whole island. That’s a huge private island! And I didn’t get disappointed. Throughout the entire time I was really impressed by the resort, staff, rooms and food. First of all you check in on...

The best part of this resort is the natural beauty of the island. The water is crystal clear and has an almost unreal turquoise color. The sandbar is great to hang out and the marine sanctuary is perfect for snorkeling. You need to swim from the sandbar to the sanctuary but it's not far. The sanctuary is just full of...

Upon reaching the resort, I was thankful that we will only be there for the day. The facilities were average and the general upkeep of the surroundings was below what I have expected. If you check their room prices online, their rates are unreasonably high! The beach, of course, was amazing! The buffet food at the beach side area was...

My then fiance and I took my mom , nephew and 3 sisters back in Dec of 2013. We stayed in 2 villas. The whole island is very relaxing , waters are warm and crystal clear. My favorite part is the sandbar. My now husband wanted to extend our stay he loved it so much. Though our stay was costly...

Went there with my wife, her sister, my daughter and myself. Went on day tour only. Was a bit disappointing. The sand was full of stones and dangerous to swim in low tide. Food was average, expected better. Not worth the money we spent on it.

Me and my children decided to have a trip to Sumilon. After 3 hours ride from Cebu,we arrived at sumilon. On our way to the boat, the security guard stopped us and advised us that the chips we are bringing have corkage charge. I asked if they will consider since it's for the children's snack but he refused. He let...
