Connie and Hein are wonderful hosts, with the most lovely Bed and Breakfast we have visited. We are smitten with the Chateau and highly recommend it. The room was impeccable, the grounds are perfect with vineyards and beautiful relaxing spots to pause and enjoy the views with a glass of wine, or just to enjoy the breeze and the company....

The owners and proprietors, Conny and Hein, were so welcoming and genuinely kind. The chateau and surrounding vineyard and grounds were exquisitely romantic and picturesque (the vineyard was in vibrant fall hues), our room (we stayed in the Red Room Suite) was incredibly spacious and decorated with love and care, the breakfast buffet was simple and elegant (we ate one...

We rented an apartment named Orangerie in October 2015. It consists of a large living room, a bedroom and a bathroom. The apartment (as well as the rest of the Chateau) offers a cozy comfort as it is is decorated with greatest taste, it is fully equipped, and all the appliances and mechanisms function comme il faut. Located among the...

After a very rainy travel day driving from Beaune, we arrived at Chateau Talaud to warmth and sunshine. We had the Red Room and were traveling with our 3 year old daughter, and couldn't have been more taken aback by the beauty of the chateau and the vineyard setting. The views from the room and balcony overlooking the vineyard and...

We arrived on Thursday after starting our honeymoon near Nice. The property is stunning, and the rooms were amazing ( especially the tubs). We stayed 5 nights in the Blue Room. The hosts, Conny and Hein were very welcoming from the start. Conny even made reservations for us at an amazing restaurant in Gigondas which we loved for Saturday. We had...

This is the finest place at which we stayed in France, no question, and we stayed at some five star establishments during our several weeks in southern France. What makes it special isn't so much the quality of bathroom fixtures (though those are nice here), but the entire mix of location, ambiance, the hosts, and the overall chateau feel you...

We spent 4 nights in this property following a recommendation from friends. As soon as you pass the gate you enter into a totally different experience: a beautiful old country house, surrounded by a natural forest and vineyards which embrace you and put you in a peaceful, dreamlike atmosphere. The house and the rooms were tastefully renovated in a way...

We absolutely loved the Chateau Talaud, the staff, and the owners Conny and Hein. From the moment you arrive, they make you feel like home. There is a Regal feel to the Chateau yet non-pretentious. We loved our room - the green room and if you are someone who appreciates a nice bubble bath, you'll love the bathroom. Views from...

We stayed here 4 nights and we absolutely fell in love with the setting. The owners take their business so personally going the extra mile to make sure our stay was far above our expectations. The rooms were absolutely charming, styled in the period they were designed for. Beautiful. We can't wait to return.
