New owners Craig and Mivvi with family help have really turned this establishment around. New decor, wonderful lighting and bar set up have made a massive difference to the place and it can only improve. i would disagree that the food is of poor quality, these are early days and possibly the new staff are still learning, I would imagine...

Great food and cheap too, had spag bol, steak and gammon and the toffee crunch for desert, all beautiful, will definitely return. Staff were excellent and very accommodating and had a few drinks and a game of darts in the bar after we left the restaurant.

We were staying at skipsea sands for the weekend end. 8 adults and one baby we decided we would like a Sunday roast and as the park did not do these we asked at shop for some nice food in the area. We were persuaded to come try out the new inn for the home made yorkies. We turned up...

Having flown into the nearby airfield arrived at New Inn Monday10 August about 6pm with no advance booking as such. Received a very warm welcome from Andy, and although this was a night when food was not normally available this did not present a problem. Genuinely friendly family run establishment. Accommodation really good, and although breakfast was not included in...

Visited as a couple, and then later in the weekend with friends. This is a traditional pub, a large building with a lovely courtyard where they have a small stage and plenty of room, it must have been a coaching house or similar in the past. One side is the restaurant, the other the bar with a pool table. Nice...

Went for Sunday lunch, didn't book but table available. Menu was varied. Food lovely and fresh. All overcooked, very tasty. Roast turkey and stuffing delicious, I had a small portion and this was enough for most diners. Would definitely return. Young waitress did a fine job, very efficient. The chef should be complimented on delivering good overcooked food.

Unfortunately our overnight stay coincided with a Charity Darts Night. The raucous noise from the party downstairs lasted until 2 in the morning - we could hear it all from our bedroom! The bedroom was clean, but the wall-lights didn't work, and the hot tap in the basin was loose. I lived in the village over 60 years ago, and...

Lovely quaint Inn. Obviously still being worked on. Very welcoming staff. Room nicely decorated with plenty of tea and coffee and biscuits etc. evening dinner was very good and good choice on the menu. Breakfast was lovely with a choice of exactly what you wanted. Would definitely stay here again, good value for money.

We arrived early on a Friday evening and initially got the impression from the waitress that as we hadnt booked we might not get a table which as another waitress stepped in turned out not to be the case, table 1 was free. Not a great start or warm welcome when you are hungry. The "special" on Fridays is Fish...
