3 divers and 2 non divers. Amazed at how they run the logistics in this place. There seems to be so many people, all doing their own thing, but the dive planning, the dives, the food, the bar etc all just run efficiently. Everyone is pleasant and helpful; from arriving at security to the Potato Bass out at sea! Wish... More

We were at CD 20 years ago, and wow, they did a lot of upgrades! The 2 cottages we stayed in were good, cleaning every day, open air shower, nice experience. The food was good, nice to also have a private fridge. They even have a pool now for relaxing. There is a big pool in the back for diving... More

This is the third time I've stayed in D-camp. I did not take advantage of the diving. The units have been refurbished since my last visit and are now a lot brighter. My bags failed to arrive (left in Munich) and the staff were very helpful providing extra blankets etc for my first night. I purchased meals in the lodge... More

Coral Divers is set up and run for people wanting to dive - and coral reef diving is the main attraction in the area. It's a professionally run operation that at the same time has a relaxed and laid-back vibe. The place is packed with lovely young people from SA and the rest of the world interning to get their... We did go with a lot of expectations. We booked everything from home. That was super easy, easy to pay also. We booked 3 nights, incl. buffet breakfast and dinner. Also full gear and 2 dives. Once we arrived we upgrade our room to one with a bathroom on it. We did not get any information, we must find out... More

Basic, but all you need. Toilets and showers in camp area need desperate work. Tents are very close together and do not allow privacy especially when the party animals come home later in the evening or morning. Earplugs worked a treat. Staff simply awesome

We stayed at Coral Divers for a mini-break during a week. Even midweek, the vibe was amazing. The lodge has a main area where the bar, restaurant, reception, pool and diving gear room are located. This is where the main chilling area is and there is always great music playing. The lodge also offers various different diving courses on the... More

We had a very pleasant surprise upon arrival. In the back of my head I always thought that any dive school would be small with a small tent camp. However, this blew my mind. They have 24 hour Employees, very professional staff and takes out more than 350 people to the open sea per day. I'm very impressed!

Decided on Thursday to go scuba for the weekend! All it took was one phone call and a couple of minutes later my weekend was sorted! Speedy reaction from the bookings office and excellent customer service. On arrival all just fell in place, effortlessly I may add. Accomodation was very good and cozy, so was the prepared meals, always on... More

Coral Divers is a PADI 5 star Gold Palm IDC/CDC Centre situated in Sodwana Bay, South Africa. We are proud to be able to provide all levels of PADI scuba instruction from Bubble Maker to Instructor Development Courses as well as accommodation and dive charters. Lying within the boundaries of the Isimangaliso Wetland Park, Sodwana Bay provides the travelling diver with a vast array of unspoilt coral reefs populated with a huge diversity of Indo-Pacific fish & invertebrates. Apart from the great diving & beautiful coral reefs, the area offers fun and excitement for the non-diver too. From quad bike riding, kiteboarding and paintballing to day trips to Makhasa Game Reserve for Rhino or Buffalo tracking on foot, you're sure to find something that appeals to you, your friends and/or family. Coral Divers offers you a very comfortable diving holiday experience while retaining the rustic appeal of an out-of-the-way bush camp. The area is covered with dense coastal forest offering exquisite scenery, bird watching, and a number of small mammals including Bush Babies, Genets, Duiker and Striped Mongoose. Sodwana is accessible by car, however we can arrange transfers from Hluhluwe - Bushlands (The BazBus drop off point) should you not have your own vehicle. Petrol & Diesel are available from the petrol station in the National Park, and there is a small supermarket which can provide you with essentials such as food, drink and sun block. There are a couple of restaurants both within and outside of the Park, as well as our local night club, 'Maak 'n Jol', where you can dance the night away. Sodwana is also within driving distance of a number of amazing game reserves including Makhasa Game Reserve, Mkhuze Game Reserve, Phinda Game Reserve & the Hluhluwe Mfolozi Park. “My husband and I stayed in the ensuite cabin which was roomy and quirky. The young adults stayed in the basic cabins and shared ablutions which were quite sufficient; they could be quite noisy at night as near to the bar and parking area.”

“The top of the range chalets with internal bathrooms cost a bit more but are really by far the best option. They are set in a lovely grassed milkwood parkland, quieter and more secluded than the rest of busy camp. There are also a lot of lovely campsites set into the coastal forest, but personally I'd only want to camp there in the off season. ”

“None needed, this is a rustic dive get away and to upgrade to 5 star status will take away the uniqueness.”

“No need to splash of on accommodation! all the room choices are basically the same, the only difference being what your walls are made of. For a bunch of students, we took the fixed text option at the Coal Divers resort and if was more than enough. plus, you don't spend much time on your room anyway... Tell your wife you can save the money and use it for more useful things! ”
