We went for short vacation during weekends. It was only an hour drive from home. The resort was in great location next to Bukit Keluang hiking point. It has 4 swimming pools of various depths, kids friendly and open 24hours. Room was clean and has basic facilities, fridge, aircond, hot water, tv, heater, iron, n iron board. As for breakfast, only ala carte available, nasi kerabu daging bakar, if you are not fond of eating this food better booking without complimentary breakfast. There is no room service for food. A lot of cheap food, seafood & western available at restaurants near to this resort.

It is not really geared up for European/ Foreign tourists. It seems to cater for local family holidays. The rooms themselves are full of local character but no one spoke much English but did try their best to be helpful.

If you are on your way to the islands, this is the best place to stay before the ferry. The bungalows are beautiful with special athmosphere, the bed comfortable and the ac is working well giving you a good night's sleep. The bathroom is terrible, just serves its purpose. Breakfast can be taken at the resort, but meals should be taken at restaurants along the nearby beach. Staff look sad as hotel very empty!

We had the unfurtunate idea to go to this so called "resort".
Never seen anything like this before. The structure of the resort is actually more than decent. it could be a really nice place.
BUT:
the rooms were dirty and smelly. our friends even found a mouse under their bed. the sheets were complitely full of stains.
the bathroom was disgusting, it had holes in the wall and a lot of dust on the floor.
during the night we heard a lot of strange sounds, probably we had more than one animal in the room.
we saw an increduible amount of people working there, but seemd like nothig was ever done. In the reception there were 7 people doing nothig and not being able to speak ANY english.
the swimming pool's water was black and half emty.

sleeping there was a real nightmere.
DON'T GO

We spent just five hours here, arriving at 2 am and leaving to catch a ferry at 7 am - so it didn't matter too much that it was a rubbish hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful - that was the one saving grace. However, the room felt damp, the whole place needs a massive refurb, there was no toilet paper in the bathroom (which I was glad I hardly had to use as it resembled something at the low end of a budget backpacker hostel, not a 3 star hotel).

No way is this place 3 star - and it shouldn't pretend to be. I don't expect an entire spa full of products in the bathroom, but at least some soap or at the very least bog roll would be nice.

The owner of this place is apparently a very rich man. I'm sure he is. Cutting back on basic provisions must save him a lot of money.

Went with my wife here for family day.
Pros:
Room design was very good and romantic.
Karaoke at night. Kids pool.
Beach nearby was very beautiful.
Cons:
Mosquito at night. but they provide electric mosquito coils.
Aircond less function. but they provide small fan.
Tv signal is not clear, not much channel.
Sometimes no phone signal and 3g (Digi). very hard to make a call.

I like the fact that it is located away from the town..the road to the hotel is rather deserted.
The food at the restaurant near the pool was quite good.
But I hated the swimming pool, dirty you could hardly see the bottom of the pool. And it was small. And when it rained the area where they have all those pool chairs was flooded.
Room was ok (we rented family chalet), not so good but acceptable. Husband complained that he hated the fact that he has to sleep in a chalet made from plywoods not real wood.
One has to walk to the beach (the hotel is not located by the beachside). The beach is not well maintained and there were monkeys from the hill. Could not believe with some people's attitude who just leave their garbage behind, right where they had their drinks, meals whatsover.
