From our favourite room at the Aviary gone are the views of scaffolding and construction work we had last year and now look out to a partial view of the beautiful new roof top pool and the beginnings of the Japanese restaurant, shops and gym. Yes there is still some construction noise going on but hopefully Management say all will be finished by March this year. Boubou the resident cat rescued from the local Temple wanders the hotel making sure eveeything is as it should be then curls up and relaxes on the nearest chair to sleep. Yes the Aviary has a lot to answer for as far as relaxing. Lovely spacious bedrooms with such comfortable beds and soft pillows ..mine kept saying don't get up stay another 10 minutes! Good sized bathroom with powerful shower and amble hot water all day. Breakfasts have a good selection for all tastes. The front of house staff are increadibly cheery and helpful be early morning or late at night there is always a smile. Now this new pool - it is a fantastic addition and one of the longest pools l have seen (apart from Infinity at MBS Singapore) and after 30 lengths a day l go home superfit. There are plenty of sunbeds, chill out chairs and huge bean bags to laze around on and sunbathe. There can be a noise problem sometimes from the sound system shop across the road playing loud music but l understand the hotel is trying to do something on behalf of guests. The hotel couldn't be more central with a 5 mins walk to Pub Street or try Street No.7 just before Pub Street a lot quieter and is up and coming with places to eat. Tours of all the interesting and famous sites can be arranged thro' the hotel. I also must give my grateful thanks to Makara the Manager for taking time out to go with me to buy toys and then take them to the local Childrens Hospital. Aviary hotel you have done it again and made another holiday in Siem Reap one to remember.

We had a delightful x 6 day stay at this very central hotel .
We had two of the new Sambong rooms in the new wing which are only about a month old . The rooms are very spacious with both bed room and living areas with a walk in shower and bath .
The air con is individually controlled and does a great job . There is also a ceiling fan .
The staff are charming and could not have done more to make our stay a great success and are so attentive and 100% responsive .
The hotel is contemporary but has some lovely decor and touches with their bird theme .
I think for the price point this is very good value for money and included a buffet breakfast . They also have two swimming pools one with more sun the other with plenty of shade . There is a cafe on site where we enjoyed some very good coffee .
The roof top bar is a good location to enjoy a few drinks before you head off to dinner at your restaurant of choice .
The temples of course and the National Museum are not to be missed and Siem Reap has some great food if you seek out the good restaurants which are often in charming tropical garden settings with soft lighting .
Highly recommend.

All I can say is little about this boutique hotel, an amazing and relaxing oasis in the middle of Siem Reap where the service provided by the staff stands out above the average: they made our stay unforgettable (especially Champa who is one of the best professionals we've ever met, always aware of all the details and making us feel special).
They came to pick us up at the airport and took us back with maximum efficiency, they gave us an unforgettable 60-minute massage at the Amret Spa, they welcomed us with two drinks at the rooftop bar and upgraded us to the Sarus Crane Suite that was simply stunning (very comfortable king size bed, giant bathroom with bathtub, shower and two sinks, private terrace overlooking the pool, a comfortable lounge, details like a cookie every afternoon...).
Two wonderful pools (one on the roof and one on the ground floor) ideal for cooling off the heat and a delicious full breakfast that combined a buffet part with a la carte dishes.
All in a perfect location a short walk from Pub Street or Night Market.
During our stay they were expanding the facilities but despite the works when we entered the hotel everything was calm.
And finally, we loved the exotic, modern and beautiful detailed decoration plenty of local art pieces under the theme of birds.
Without a doubt, the best option to stay in Siem Reap. I have a travel blog (Trippingbites) and I have made a complete review for those who need it from this hotel.

I stayed at this hotel because it is brand new. ATMs and a bank is right next to the hotel. They have a great staff who pay great attention to your needs. You are greeted with a drink and a towel at the reception.
They have 2 pools for those who wants to stay in and relax, a restaurant, spa and a coffee shop. The restaurant has delicious food and the coffee shop has a great selection of pastries, juices and coffee.
I would have to admit they have the most comfortable bed and a fluffy comforter. The most amazing thing after a full day of walking around temples is taking a hot shower and sleeping in this bed. A little box of cookies in the evenings in your room was a nice touch and a sweet surprise.
My room had a big balcony with chairs and a small table too. The decor of the room was very modern & spacious.
The staff really knows how to take care of their guests. They are super polite and they will do anything to make your stay comfortable. My room had a power outage & they sent someone right away to get it fixed.

Stayed in the Kingfisher suite for 3 nights and had an amazing stay. Can’t say enough about how great we were treated. 2 pools which are both nice... 1 on the rooftop and then one on the ground floor. Breakfast was nice... definitely enough options and never left hungry :) Utilized the driver and guide arranged from the hotel and liked them so much we booked them for an additional day. Hotel is in easy walking distance to Pub Street and other restaurants. Would stay here again! Thanks again for a wonderful experience.

I had the most AMAZING time at this beautiful hotel! Every single one of the staff was so attentive, helpful and genuinely happy and kind. The location is amazing and easily walkable to restaurants, grocery stores, the river path and Pub Street which is where we ate dinner each night!
The hotel is so beautiful and the rooftop pool (1 of 2) is the perfect place to relax after spending hot and humid days sightseeing. We ate the (complimentary) breakfast every morning and lunch at the pool a few of the days during our stay and all of the food was very good.
I actually think this hotel was better in person and I cannot say enough good things about this hotel and would recommend to anyone!

Had a good time in this hotel. Rooms were big and the beds were very comfortable. The facilities are well put together, small roof top pool and tiny gym. However location is good, with a small supermarket and decent massage parlours within stone's throw. Two very small bottles of water provided but bath accessories are complete with practically anything you need in the room. We opted for room-upon-assignment and was given a deluxe room with a TV that doesn't work. We were told upfront though and it was ok since we don't watch TV. But I would reckon any respectable hotel would not offer rooms with faulty hardware to guests.
Weak link may be breakfast at the Flock Cafe, 3 sets available on a la carte and small portions. No refills for beverages but was informed can have second servings of food.
Staffing-wise, this hotel has excellent hotel staff which the owner should be proud of. There is a 5% service charge to almost anything arranged by the hotel. Taxi/Car quotes are not competitive.

Dear ABCWL, Thank you very much for choosing The Aviary Hotel during your trip to Siem Reap. We have taken note of your positive comments. There are a few things that we are working on it right now like, the cable TV is on processing after the whole siem reaps road construction. We will work on improving with our team members to make sure it won't happen again in the future. Normally, guests can order food as much as they can eat. Free flow black coffee and a choice drink from The Flock Cafe Menu. Thanks again for sharing your feedback. We wish you a great journey! Best regards, The Aviary Hotel Team

We spent 3 nights at this hotel and enjoyed it's great location. You can walk to all of the local night life spots in the evening safely. The hotel has a lovely tropical feel to it with lots of open space.
We were made very welcome at the hotel and every time we came and went. Breakfast was very good - not a big choice but very well done and plentiful. We left early to see Angkor Watt one morning and took some pack up breakfast with us.
My only criticism of hotel is there are lots of steps in the room and if you get up in the night in the dark it can be dangerous. There are some night lights provided and I'd recommend using them.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Aviary and would not hesitate in returning.

Perfectly located in Siem Reap, the Aviary is centrally located and a simple 5 minute walk to Pub Street.
Well appointed rooms are comfortable and nicely priced.
Great service when I had to print out a copy of my Cambodia visa for exit.
Some construction going on, but does not detract from the beauty of the hotel.
Highly recommended.

Hotel has 4 retails shop. All quality and made in Cambodia.
Otherwise the market is 5mn walk from hotel
Best location ever!
Anything you wish.
They have room service from the Cafe cafe restaurant and Japanese restaurant
Hi, if you google image "the aviary suites" and find photo where there is a bath tub in a open space (basically between the living room and bed) thats the room I stayed.
So next to bath tub is the shower with glass door. Opposite shower is the toilet with wood door.
Sorry rather difficult to explain.
But I believe the Tailorbird should be normal. As they upgraded mine from Kingfisher to Sarus Crane Suite. Hope it helps
Hi we too organised a private guide before we arrived, but the hotel staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough to help, I think your price would be a bit higher than if you prearranged but your experience would still be great
