Melia Vinpearl Phu Quoc is often celebrated for its pristine cleanliness and tranquil atmosphere, nestled in a prime location that boasts close beach access and diverse dining options. Guests have called out the luxurious villas and spacious, immaculate rooms, though a few have noted occasional noise and service inconsistencies.

Delightful and unforgettable memories in here. Felt the extreme welcome from the Team, they really did surprise us by the so-called “honeymoon cake” and romantic decoration even though we just mentioned only in Check-in desk. Since the first moment until the end of the stay, you will always get the smile and the “Xin chao” greeting from all the staff here. Also big shout out to Ms. Vyan, Mr. Cuong and Mr. Quan for making our stay so memorable. See you soon!

Four stars given the beautiful beach and the amazing accommodation (we stayed in a three bedroom villa with an ocean view) but the food was not only expensive but really poor to average quality. The beach is gorgeous and perfect for a morning stroll. They groom the beach each morning and clean up all the garbage that washes ashore. There are loads of loungers and towels available. The water when we visited in December was warm and clear and perfect for a swim. We stayed in a three bedroom villa which was perfect for our family Christmas. Each bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with shower (the master also had a bath tub), there's a lovely and spacious living room and kitchen area although the kitchen is not equipped with anything including glasses - you need to request them. The private terrace with our own pool was absolutely delightful. Really everything was perfect except the food. The morning buffet breakfasts were okay. We chose the bed and breakfast plan and opted out of the full meal plan. We tried one buffet dinner but it was overpriced and really not great quality. We ended up eating at the a la carte restaurant for the rest of our stay. The food was average at best and often cold. We had to send meals back more than once but then gave up. The service was kind of hit and miss. Come prepared - we couldn't find a place to even buy a bag of crisps or soft drinks other than at the bar.

What can I say more beside this is a perfect place to relax. Everything was perfect, the decor is tasteful, the staffs are friendly, even the gardeners and pool cleaners smile and say hello when they see you. The villa is spacious and clean, and the beds are comfy, not to mention the excellent private pool and the room service that keep the place clean. They have electric carts to carry you from your room to anywhere and back, just call the reception and ask, the drivers are friendly and chatty. We booked the full board package so we have buffet for every meals and it was excellent. The food is delicious, they have everything from vietnamese to international cuisine, I recommend you try their Pho and ice cream. The menu changes every meal and there's a seafood counter in the evening. The ground and pools are well kept, and the beach is superb. The water is clean and clear that you can see the bottom and there are plenty of sun loungers on the beach and near the pools for you to choose. I can't stress how much the staffs go above and beyond to accommodate your requests and make you feel welcomed. Overall everything was perfect and above my expectations. Would definitely return soon!

My husband & I came from the USA to Phu Quoc as part of our honeymoon and stayed here expecting a great experience. However, we were less than impressed. The dinner buffet at Oceanus was awful. The food lacked flavor and things that were suppose to be hot were cold. At breakfast, the juices offered were not cold but room temperature. They were also close to empty and not replenished. The croissants were stale and some of the food choices were from dinner from the night before and thus not fresh. There were wild birds flying around inside the restaurant. Birds carry diseases so I don’t exactly want to be eating my food with them flying around freely.
We had only purchased breakfast as part of our package so to eat dinner was more of a hassle than it needed to be. We had to go to the reception counter to let them know which room we were in and process paper work before we could even enter the restaurant to eat. All other hotels usually just ask for your room number after you’ve eaten and are able to quickly charge the room which is much more convenient for the customer. Our villa’s interior was nice but lacked a view. Knowing we were on our honeymoon, you’d think they’d give us a villa overlooking the beach/pool...a more romantic setting than looking into other villa’s backyards. We were kept up until midnight due to a loud noise outside of our villa that sounded like a leaf blower. There were no beach towels provided inside the villa for use at the private pool, but only at the main pool so you either had to go to the main pool to get beach towels yourself or use the bath towels that were inside the room.
The last and most annoying thing is the loudness & rudeness of some of the other customers and the lack of supervision of their children. We could not enjoy the private pool of our villa or the main pool because of the noise. One villa was even blasting their music. In the restaurant, kids are running around unattended and skipping you in line (their parents also skipped). One child was even riding his scooter through the restaurant. We understand different cultures interact differently and have different social norms/customs but there needs to be some order to things and basic rules of etiquette especially for an international resort. If there is an employee who is currently helping one customer, the next customer needs to wait their turn and not cut in & interrupt or skip in line. There needs to be common courtesy and respect for others which the resort does not seem to reinforce.
Sadly, I would not stay here again as Vinpearl was disappointing despite the reviews by others.

We booked Vinpearl Coastalland full board, inclusive of unlimited Safari and VinWonder for 5 days. We travelled as a family of 6 with 2 young teens who are fussy eaters. Main objective was to get away from our daily grind and relax.
Overall our stay was relaxing and enjoyable. The Safari bus tour was worth the trip, although the kids thought it similar to our own Werribee zoo. VinWonder was entertaining, the kids enjoyed the water park and rides. We were impressed with the Aquarium, much better than the Melbourne and Sydney one, although we found the mermaid show to be too crowded. GrandWorld and the water light show was a big rave and overrated, probably good for photos but that was about all.
Vinpearl’s service we would rate 5 for most. 4 would be for the room service, toilet tissues not topped up, towels replaced but stacked in a different room, broken glass not caused by us and not replaced. Floors could do with a sweep or vacuum as we stayed for a fair duration. They were however very attentive to a stuck drain plug in one of our sink. Bed and linen quality was THE BEST!
Oceanus restaurant had a great variety of food from Vietnamese soup, vietnamese salad, to Italian, BBQ, Seafood, rice with a variety of meat and veggie dishes, bread, dessert, fruit and all the coffee you can drink!! Service at the restaurant was wonderful, mum had an upset tummy from eating outside and they made up a fresh ginger tea for her. The waitresses and serving staff knew to serve those who lined up and not those who jumped in line, this is to be commended, thank you for respecting this. However the floor got slippery as the restaurant got crowded and too many people spilled food. Some of the waiters should not clear plates that are still in front of people, they’re not done yet, please ask. The kids had food they could eat, that’s enough to rate this restaurant highly. My son loved your Bun Bo Hue and Pho and asks that you serve orange juice please.
Vinpearl’s location is fairly far from town. We would recommend a bookable free shuttle that goes to town and comes back once a day. Because of our long stay we found we needed to go into town multiple times, and that became costly for the 6 of us. The kids loved the communal pool, they found the villa pool too cold.
In general we loved our stay but would return to a different Vinpearl. Not because of Vinpearl but because Phu Quoc is a town that is littered with rubbish. The Government really need to do something about this if the Island is meant to attract more tourists.

The complex is clean. They offer a free shuttle at 5 to the night market. They could invite store vendor to set up in the property once or twice a week to liven up the place. No music by the pool or beach. You need to pay for the use of non motor equipment like push bikes or canoe.

With my family, I booked a room with breakfast, used one non-inclusive dinner, and had a room service meal. The staff were friendly and the facilities and rooms were in good condition.
However, due to the wrong confirmation at check-in, we are currently waiting for a refund because we have to pay the already paid accommodation fee again.
It is good to use facilities linked to free shuttle buses to go outside. However, this should be noted because restaurants or facilities are not close to each other and it is far from moving to the downtown area.

We recently stayed at Melia Vinpearl and will certainly be staying again. From the moment we arrived and throughout our stay, the standard of service was impeccable. Every staff member we encountered was attentive and friendly.
Once our room was ready we were taken by a tuk tuk and our bags where carried in for us (our room was ready 1.5 hours early) . The villas are incredible. The whole space is very luxurious with high quality amenities. The outdoor space is beautiful with several seating areas including a private pool overlooking the lake.
We booked a one bedroom villa and where kindly upgraded to a two bedroom villa (it was gigantic). The villa had a very spacious living/dining/kitchen area, two bedrooms both with ensuites and build in wardrobes. It also had a seperate toliet area and storage cupboard for ironing etc. After checking into the room we received a courtesy call to ensure everything was perfect which it was.
Breakfast was extensive and delicious with so many options including fresh cooking stations. We ate and drank in the hotel pool side bar & restaurant several times and the food and cocktails were superb. In addition, we ordered room service and again the service and quality of food was outstanding.
The hotel offers a free tuk tuk service around the resort which we used frequently due to the sheer size. Everytime we requested one it arrived within a matter of minutes. There is also a free shuttle service to a couple of attractions including the safari which I'd highly recommend. It was one of our trip highlights as we had the opportunity to feed the giraffes and lemurs.
If your considering Melia Vinpearl, look no further as our experience was faultless and one of the best resorts we've stayed in (if not the best). If I could give it more than five stars I would. Thank you for a incredible four days.

Nice place to take a rest, it is best resort I've ever seen before, Nice people, good restaurant it is so big and even though there are so many people in there, it is not crowed , and Best and luxury room in my whole experience.
Check in proceed very quickly as well, and I am very impressed they provided some meal box which was very useful to come back journey.
Minor cons is that there are small problem in water pressure, door bell malfunction, but they were fixed by the team very fast, It should be checked all facility before checked-in.
Anyhow, My family had take a good time in Vinperl discovery2 and expecially thank to Ms. Quy, she is guest relation officer and helped us devotedly. I hope I can visit next time to Vinperl discovery2.

The Level is an upgraded hotel-in-hotel. Better services, restaurants, exclusive breakfast, isolated rooms/villas..., adults only, quieter exclusive pools, beaches, bars and overall areas. I'm use to use, and pays the difference. Very personalized experience thanks to The Level guest experience teams. Normally you can find when booking the type of room!!
Hope it helps
the weather in March is ok . That is the best time to travel Phu Quoc,. Enjoyyy
