First part of our christmas 2019 holiday was 3 nights in Ho Chi Minh city and then 11 nights at this facility. Hotel was what we had expected and we stayed in a 2 bedroom garden villa which was perfect for a teenage family of 4. The villa was clean and big, with a hugh living room and a private pool outside the back-yard patio. Also two spacious bedrooms, each with own big bathrooms. There is also a third bathroom in the living area. Breakfast was included and with plentiful of selections and within a short walk about 5 minutes (or call for a shuttle transport). The eating area is sometimes quite noisy due to size and small children so be early. Staff is okay but sometimes not so good at english. Highly recommended is the stunning beach and the hugh pool. Unfortunatelly you need to get pool chairs early, otherwise they are almost all "booked" by towels, both at pool and at beach which is not okay for a 5 star hotel. There is much place for more chairs so a bit dissapointing to see a lot of empty booked chairs and lot of possible space for more chairs. The staff should also be more alert to bar orders at pool our indoors, a little too slow service. The New years eve event was big and included a stage with okay performance all evening but way too much people and the table were not numbered and as we came in a little late we had trouble sitting together, however the staff fixed a decent placement after a while. Plentiful of good food. Water is clear and warm (as was the enormous pool, but the pool music is too loud sometimes and should update the playlists more often) and its clean, also on beach. We had only breakfast and eating at the buffe resturant or the set-menu resturant is very pricy and not worth the money. Best alternative is free shuttle to Almaz, a nereby small shoping/eating area, free shuttle bus to Dou Dong night market or just plain room service. We also used the Tours service to go on the longest cable car in the world at Thoms islands plus other short visits on the way like coconut prison (scary war place), fish sauce factory, perl factory etc - worth doing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, especially the calm at our own private pool.

I was really skeptical when I booked this place because some of the bad reviews i have heard, so I have like no expectations whatsoever. So when I arrived I was shooked like FOREAL!!!!!! I have experienced many customers service from many five-star hotels in Vietnam because my family have a habit to splurge on vacation, but this is different. Everyone was so nice to my family for the whole vacation and the staff always try to do their best to satisfy all of my requests. Seriously, I can’t really describe my satisfaction during my stay here just because of the staff you need to experienced yourself to understand

We got an 4 bedrooms villa with Ocean view and it was beautiful, big and spotless. Eventhough it kinda far from the main gate but the hotel have car that will take you everywhere in the hotel and you just need to call and they will arrive to pick you up immediately.
Though there are room to improve. I just wish they have more foods option here, the villa is so comfortable that I want to stay inside all day but there are not much food to choose. The food that they have in the menu taste nice, and I have no complaints about the food quality but they need to expand the menu consider their location make it really hard to get food from others place.
I also wish they have some place to entertain at night after 11:00 technically all of their restaurant, spa, and bar are closed.If my family want to hang until late our only option was to stick to the room service that served ( which is nice I’m not complaining).

Will I pick Vinpearl resort and golf again if i come to Phu Quoc ? Yes, if their staff and room remain like this I will totally ignore other cons and pick this place every single time. Their staff and room made up all the other things that lacking. Just because I never enjoyed staying at a Hotels like this just because of the staff. I do recommend people to give this place a try by themselves because maybe someone will found their favorite hotels like me.

We had great experiences with your hotel this holiday. First to say is your check-in service which is very smart, modern and convinient for all of us. We were asked to do the check-in process since we landed at the airport and the information was sent to the hotel that we got the room number and schedules for the next time right away while we were on the taxi. Very fast! It also surprised us that we only need to do the facial detection at your camera system to register for safari or breakfast. By the way, Bai Dai Beach needs to be improved to be cleaner. We stayed for 5 nights there but I was very disappointed with the room cleaning service. My kids ate snack and drop some small pieces on the floor, also there were hairs on the floor and in the bathroom but after room make- up, none of those things have been cleared. It appeared the house keeping staffs didn't sweep/ vacuum or mop the floor. I could see and feel the floor was quite dirty so I and my kids had to wear slipper all the time there. Also, the shower didn't work well, then after 2 night staying I had to ask for the technical came to check and fix it. They said they couldn't fix then they offer us to move to the other room. We had to pack things to move and then unpack it. It really wasted time. I think they should check the whole room if it is in good condition before letting customer to stay to avoid such things happened.
It would not be happenedat the 5-stars resort.

Need to provide additional details of what is all included in some of their packages. Misleading that they say include golf (does not include buggy, caddy, clubs (understand clubs are extra), spa and practice for golf. They leave out that you have to choose only 1 option. Would not of booked if this was clear.
Staff was fantastic and actually made the trip. Came during the rainy season and they made every attempt at making the best possible experience they could. DO NOT book ocean view room during rainy season. Water was leaking in the room through the door and the wind was rattling the doors. They prepared another room with garden view to accommodate. Food was above average but nothing special.

Wonderful Holidays. Excellent Services, Luxury Villa. This is the best Villa I have been leaving. The Master Bed Room is TOO Big and I want to enjoy, luxuriating this room so much! I feel this is The Best Villa in Vietnam. Excellent View and Beach sea. The Full Package for people to leave here is very convenient event the Price is not too high. I will comeback if I have Time.

It is with a heavy heart that I write this review, the actual hotel itself is gorgeous with a nice pool but unfortunately everything else in here is just not up to par. I met 2 other families here that both expressed similar opinions so I know it's not just me. We are all cutting short our stay here at Sheraton to try higher end hotels asap on the island. First off, please add 1.5M VND to the price as airport shuttle transport is not included or arranged, it is nearly 1 hour taxi ride to/from the airport. This by itself is less a complaint more of a comment, as other hotels around all include complimentary shuttle service. The staff have very limited grasp of English and couldn't handle drinks orders by the pool. It took them nearly half an hour to bring us the drinks after having to confirm 3 times with them. One of the other families had an issue with their dinner order and the hotel ended up giving them a discount due to the mess up. The shuttle service time tables to the attractions are more like guidelines, they may very well leave 5 to 10 mins earlier than scheduled, kind of insane. Our key cards failed twice as well, something wrong with the system which made us march to the lobby to fix. The hotel also decided to blast at very full volume a test of their sound system at nearly 4pm. They skipped from song to song with a mic check here and there. We are on the 5th floor and can't block out the sound. We had to put noise canceling headphones on our child's ears so he can take his nap. There is barely any sound proofing. I'm so sorry, but the hotel operation really isn't up to par for a Marriott hotel. It's quite unfortunate.

This resort is far, far away from everything (except a large amusement park). It certainly is a Sheraton from the prices it charged. It provided a smooth check-in experience and the facilities had good amenities. The breakfast did not disappoint. We ate it every day and could never have the same experience twice. We stayed in a 2-bedroom cottage with ample room, including a kitchen. However, there were no plates, pots, or pans to make food. You had to call the front desk each and every day to get some, and sometimes they would show up, and sometimes they would not. Since the resort is far from everything, you must depend on the restaurant or room service. Both provided subpar food; even if you had some leftovers, there was no microwave to reheat the food. I was disappointed as having a kitchen was advertised and a big reason why we spent the money to stay there. We knew it was a far distance from anything, so we stopped on the way to get groceries, and not being able to cook many meals with them was a big disappointment. Because of the distance away from everything, there wasn't much to do besides sit by the large pool (which is the temperature of a warm bath) and sizzle in the sun as there was a lack of adequate shade by the pool chairs. There is a very nice beach. However, all you can do is wade in the water, as there are no opportunities to use any water gear like kayaks or paddle boards.
Besides the daily guess of if the cooking materials would show up, the service staff was outstanding. Very helpful and present. I wish I could say the same for the business staff. We had to leave a day early because of a family situation back home. As we had already spent four nights there, we asked for a credit or a refund of our last night. They refused, first blaming it on the travel agency I used to book the room, then I when I showed them the email informing me that it was up to the hotel, they refused again, with a vague promise of a "deal" should I return. Of course, they were under no obligation to return some money. However, the hotel was basically empty, so it was not like my reservation was preventing other travelers from staying. I figured that the expense of the hotel and general human behavior would elicit a little more understanding of our situation.
In short, this is a very expensive resort with very few amenities. If you are looking to travel to Phu Quoc and stay in a western hotel the entire time with next to zero people and pay western prices to eat mediocre food (except for breakfast), then this is the place for you. Otherwise, I would give this place a hard pass.

I took my family to Phu Quoc for a family vacation. We selected Sheraton out of the many choices available to us and we were not disappointed. The property is huge and amazing in it's beauty, its landscape, and it's proximity to the beach.
Upon check-in, we were upgraded to a villa, complete with pool and located about 15 meters from the beach. The villa had a full kitchen and was just huge for a family of 4. One of the services was being able to call for a trolley to take us from the villa to the main building where the restaurants are located.
The restaurant for dinner was amazing. The service was topnotch and on point. The food choices, between the buffet, or ordering from the menu, was very delicious.
But the best part for me, was the hotel bar. My wife and I visited with Ryan and his crew each night. Ryan treated me to a specially crafted drink each night, specifically created for me. My wife and I were made to feel like VIP guests during our entire stay. Ryan, Mickey, Johnny, Tuyen, Be Dau, Gia Bao, and Hector, worked as a team and made our stay extra special.
I also want to mention our housekeeping staff: Hanh, Tu Anh, and Chau Anh (please forgive me for any mistakes with names). All 3 ladies made sure we had enough towels, extra water, making exceptional room decorations, and even went the extra mile to obtain a charger for my sister's iPhone.
Staying with the Sheraton was one of the best decisions we made for this family vaction.

We stayed at Sheraton hotel Phu Quoc in last 3 days, we feel very happy and relax because the hotel staff have given us a warm welcome on the arrival day and very helpful to us during the time we stay in the hotel. Breakfast and dinner are well arranged, staffs are showing their professional and friendly to all the guests at the Garden Court restaurant. Specially one of staff who named Clara she has given my mum very warm welcome and helpful. She was always friendly and talked to our family members politely, we have a nice memory with our Phu Quoc trip and will come back again if we have any opportunity.
