I spent 5 nights on a honeymoon trip with my wife, marking our first visit to the Maldives. I'll provide an objective review, devoid of the initial excitement. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. The resort offered everything one could expect from a typical Maldivian retreat – commendable customer service, relatively new architecture and interior furnishings, and the captivating azure waters. The island hosting the resort is impressively sizable, perfect for those who enjoy leisurely beach walks and various sea activities, although these tended to be somewhat pricey, in my opinion. Breakfast and lunch/dinner buffets left much to be desired, offering merely average fare that fell short of expectations for a hotel in this price range. However, the à la carte restaurants provided a better dining experience with higher-quality meals, though it's worth noting that reservations must be made at least a day in advance. The drinks included in the all-inclusive plan were a letdown. They mostly consisted of the usual sugary, budget cocktails one might find at a less expensive resort. Due to the island's substantial size and an abundance of rooms, the resort never felt overcrowded, offering the serene atmosphere one seeks during a Maldivian vacation. However, I refrain from giving it a 5-star rating due to the balance of value for money. As previously mentioned, it lacks certain finer details that would elevate it to the status of a 5-star resort, especially concerning guest care and attention. As for returning, I remain uncertain. I have a sense that if I were to visit the Maldives again, I might opt for a different location to explore a distinct experience.…

Wow! Had the most idyllic 10 days at Kandima Maldives. Arrived by sea plane which was a fabulous experience and stayed in a Beach Studio waking up every morning to views of the pristine beach and beautiful blue Indian Ocean. Our studio was bright and spacious with a lovely bathroom and shower. It was cleaned and serviced daily to a high standard by our suite attendant Samih. We enjoyed the snorkelling, kayaking, paddle boarding and have seen sharks, rays, turtles whilst standing on the beach. The 2 pools at either end of the island were amazing with great pool bars. All the restaurants serve excellent food and every single member of staff were helpful and friendly. I really cannot fault this place and will most definitely return to this paradise!

everything was good, first of all the view of reception was beautiful and everybody in reception very friendly. They helped me with everything. Travel agent made a mistake about my transfer but reception Aalif and the manager of the hotel Mr.Shaamy helped me. I live in the room 305 ( ocean pool villa ) it was very very amazing and very private. Both the buffet restaurant food was very delicious. Everything was so good. I’ll definitely coming back to Kandima. And I will suggest all my friends and colleagues to visit Kandima Maldives.

The facilities are clean and modern including the immaculate gardens. The team at Kandima are so welcoming and friendly making you feel like you are the only couple on the island. Sam and Estii are the best entertainers we have ever met. From aqua fit to white party dancing and Maldivian night. Gopal is the calmest but Koolest manager on the island, treating his guests to a relaxed day/evening by always ensuring we have everything we need. Not only does Gopal treat his guests with kindness he also leads by example and looks after his team which enables them to remain motivated and deliver a great service. Fathey is unbelievable at telling stories and connecting with his guests always making them laugh. Nothing is ever too much for Fathey. Very hard working and always looking to ensure you have a good day by delivering efficient / friendly service. Rasel makes the best cocktails on the island, even when you’re not looking to have another he always has one ready for you ( your favourite one ) so it’s hard to say no. Again nothing is too much for him - a true gent !! Julu ( rasel’s brother ) you can absolutely tell they are related as they have the same motivation and service delivery. Great customer service and speed at delivering the best cocktails Mela the sweetest lady who always makes you smile. Very interested in how your day is going and if there is anything else she could do to make your holiday even more special. Manoj, well what do we say … absolutely the koolest member of the kitchen team. There wasn’t 1 day that went by where manoj wasn’t out and about checking you was well rested and ready for more delicious delights. Top guy! Jasim drives the hop on and hop off bus however we named his bus the party bus as it was always a fun trip with some tunes. It’s hard to list all of the team as there are just so many lovely colleagues who go that extra mile to make you feel special and enjoy every moment Big shout out to k band - we absolutely loved them every night they would play our song requests no matter how hard they were to sing or silly they were. Dj Akram also one of the best DJs we’ve partied to. I STAYED ON THIS ISLAND WITH MY WIFE FOR A WEEK ON THE SURFACE THE ISLAND LOOKS NICE BUT COULDNT BE FURTHER FROM THE TRUTH ITS .THIS ISLAND IS 1 STAR FLAVOUR AND ZEST CRAWLING WITH FLIES IN THE FOOD DISGUSTING.THE GENERAL MANAGER TOM IS VERY POOR HE DIDNT TAKE OUR COMPLAINT SERIOUSLY THEY ALSO TRACK YOUR EVERY MOVEMENT ON THE ISLAND THROUGH THE BAND WHICH LETS YOU INTO YOUR ROOM,THIS IS OUR OPPINION DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY PLEASE THE PLACE SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN

I would like to convey my sincere appreciation to Sippo for their outstanding airport transfer service in the Maldives. It added a touch of luxury to our trip. Snorkeling was an absolutely fantastic experience! The crystal-clear waters of the ocean opened up a whole new world beneath the surface. Floating among vibrant coral reefs and an array of colorful fish felt like exploring an underwater paradise. The tranquility of the underwater world and the sense of weightlessness while snorkeling provided a unique sense of freedom. It's an adventure that truly connects you with the beauty of nature, and I can't wait to dive back in and explore more of this mesmerizing aquatic realm.

Very expensive when taking in taxes that we pay for tourism in the Maldives, the resort charge 16 plus percent which includes a tourist tax of approx 8% on top of duty tax , Staff were excellent, Our over the water “bungalow “ was a little disappointing, Needs. A good clean, paint, sliding door into bathroom damaged and partially off the track, Fridge that didn’t keep drinks any colder than room temp, reported 3 times but to no result, Food was average in dining halls, Very humid area fans could have been operating better, overall probably wouldn’t return again, Not what I would call 5 star
