Spent a couple of nights here on our way home. Fantastic small hotel, 10 mins walk from the centre of town. Lovely individual rooms, very comfortable. Great breakfast with pastries, ham, cheese, crepes, various breads. Our host could not have been more welcoming and was happy to suggest restaurants and places to visit. The recommendations were excellent.
This is a lovely quiet hotel not far from central Cherbourg and the ferry port. Rooms are very good, breakfast were very good, there is parking available in a garage if booked, otherwise parking is in street. There is nothing of to much trouble for the hosts who were a lovely couple. A little gem worth remembering.
We had a lovely stay at Hotel Le Tiburon - beautifully presented rooms, all newly refurbished and super clean. The hosts were fantastic and very accommodating. Would highly recommend. We’ll definitely be returning!
Myself and 5 colleague's recently stayed here on a business trip and we were pleasantly surprised . Quentin our host made us all feel very welcome, the rooms were well decorated, modern and very clean, the breakfast was a traditional french breakfast, with cereals, cheese ,ham, fruit and a good selection of yogurts the bread was extremely fresh as the bakers was a few doors down, the first morning we had Brioche cooked by Quentin and was just out of the oven, I asked if it would be possible to have brown bread the next morning due to a health condition and Quentin duly obliged. Nothing was 2 much trouble and myself and my colleague's will stay here the next time we have a visit to Cherbourg.
Lovely family owned small hotel, near to ferry port. Home made jams and yogurt at breakfast. Comfortable beds. Really nice couple. It has only 9 rooms and there is parking and walking distance from centre of Cherbourg
We only stayed for one night prior to travelling back to Portsmouth on the 'Normandie Express'. Excellent location for the ferry port and La Cite de la Mer the exhibition centre. The hotel was very clean and comfortable and Ludivine and Jean Louis perfect hosts. A bonus was being able to park the car in a secure lock up garage.
Just had a lovely overnight stay at the small but nice hotel, Ludivine and her husband were very welcoming and helpful, showed us where to park the car (lock up garage) 50 metres along the road. Also gave us some advice as to where we could eat that night, we walked down to the harbour about 5 minutes walk where there is a selection of restaurants. The room was a good size on the ground floor at the front with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast consisted of homemade yogurt, cereals, French breads and fresh fruit (for our vitamins) fruit juice and coffee and of course the infamous homemade marmalade. I also used the complimentary tea and coffee facilities. All in all a very pleasant stay and wouldn't hesitate to return.
We chose this hotel as a place to stay for an overnight trip during a weekend in Cherbourg. What a great choice it was. Having taken the car over with us, parking was easy, right outside. The owners were the most friendly people you could meet. Straight away they made you feel welcome and at home. Very helpful with advice on the local area. Yes this hotel might be small but do not let that deceive you. Much better than any of the larger impersonal hotels you can stay in. The breakfast was for a small fee, very good value for money. Lots of fresh bread, and home baked pastries, with honey, nutella, and my favourite the homemade marmalade. Delicious!! If you want a very good hotel, you will not go wrong booking this one. A++++++++
This is a lovely small boutique hotel, it's a short walk from the centre (about 5min). The hotel is well decorated and the owners are a friendly couple who could not be more helpful and welcoming. The rooms are cosy and very pleasant. I stayed with a friend as we were cycling through Normandy. I would happily return to this hotel with my wife.
Chosen as a simple stop a after the ferry. Clean, comfortable bed ensuite and a lovely view. Nice and quite too. Breakfast excellent but was extra which I forgot to check on arrival. However it was fresh and home made yogurt and jams made up for that.
