Beautiful property located about 30 minutes from Albuquerque. The horse ride was amazing for any standard ( even novice) to see the plant life and local terrain. The spa is the perfect place to relax either before or after the ride.

Pros: Beautifully located hotel with adobe style buildings. Rooms seem updated and fresh. Heated swimming pool in winter, excellent spa amenities, and classical New Mexico style decor. Great views of the Sandia's, with beautiful sunrise off room balcony. Hotel was fairly quiet, with soft lights highlighting outdoor walking trails. Live music most nights, and happy hour at the bar. Fireplaces...

The resort is very nice. Staff is super friendly & will help in anyway they can. Great vacation for families & couples with lots to do. Even tho we were there during 'winter' there was lots of activities. Only draw back was some of the prices, e.g. Coffee & tea in the cafe were $5 each. Food prices were moderate....

For my very first visit to this hotel, I arrived at midnight in a driving rain. As my umbrella was in my bag, I was distressed about unloading and parking my car. As I pulled in, in front of the door, I was greeted by a friendly doorman who escorted me in with an umbrella, grabbed my bags to bring...

The Bosque Trail on the property is well maintained for walking, running, or biking. The yoga classes are lead by a wonderful instructor. The Corn Maiden restaurant Chief not only prepared a beautiful and delicious meal, he was also visited our tablle and created a wonderful atmosphere. Tamaya is a true resort with an enchanting New Mexico flair.
