We stayed in one of the superior rooms and loved it. Breakfast was served outside and was fairly standard for France and 12€. Slightly sharp madam but not unpleasant. Would recommend a one night stay enroute somewhere, unless you're into walking which there seemed to be an abundance of. The restaurant wasn't open on a Sunday or Monday so we... More

We didn't stay but ate in the restaurant. We had stayed 4 years previously and found the restaurant very pretentious then but hoped it had changed. The welcome was warmer but we were shown to a table in the shade and had to ask for a table in the sun. The glass for my aperitif was dirty. The food was... More

I only spent the night at the Chateau as I was touring the Cevennes and surrounds.I found it by chance early in the evening.I was made very welcome and shown a room(basic price) but quite adequate. After a welcome shower I went to the restaurant for dinner. What a charming, cosy and civilised place. I chose from the 22e menu and it... More

This is a wonderful chateau with terrific rooms and food. It is in a national park. It is only open from April to September. You can pretend to be a prince or princess in a medieval fairy tale. Very good value. They have a website.
