My husband and I stayed at the 5 star Maliba Mountain Lodge in November 2016 and it was a 7 star experience. From the moment you arrive in Lesotho you are greeted by the friendliest Basotho people. The resort is surrounded by mountains and gurgling rivers with the most beautiful sound of birds all day long. The lodge is spacious... More

Chicken was ordered for lunch, it came just warm!!! And not cooked enough, was sent back and was grilled? We did not eat much more of the chicken. Power was lost at night with no back up power, to walk to our room we used our mobile phones in the rain. The staff with torches and umbrellas were not to... More

The views are amazing. We really enjoyed the fireplace in the room as well as the private balcony. The food in the restaurant was great. Had a nice massage experience and horseback riding experience. The one thing I was very surprised by was how reasonably priced everything was. Usually at luxury hotels the price of drinks, massage, outings, etc are... More

We had a splendid weekend at the mountain lodge. The warm and friendly staff made the experience even better. The 5-start chalets were worth every penny; they are spacious and u literally have your backyard. The 3 course dinners were mouth watering, there was always a special surprise! We had such a great time on the pony trails and the... More

After a long but amazing drive coming from South Africa, we arrived at the park, paid the entrance fee and continued our way on a bad gravel road. Finally we arrived at a lovely lodge with 6 stand alone chalets. After the warm welcome with towels and drinks, we were brought to a our beautiful chalet. What a amazing chalet!... More

Maliba River Lodge (self catering ) was our last stop for two nights on our recent Lesotho trip. It was awesome!. The self catering accommodation was very comfortable albeit the bedrooms are a bit small. The rest was really great. The setting of Maliba is spectacular and enjoyed a hike up the valley. Possibly the highlight of our stay. The... More

Suggest you Give certificate to all if not the first time guests who take on the hiking trail. It was a good experience. Your staff is super, they rock. From the securities guards at the park entrance, reception to the attendents. How the staff handles unforseen situations is amazing. Maliba is the pace to be. Please have more activities within...
