Great stay, friendly staff and amazing scenery. My recommendations would be to clean the stove and ensure the bedroom on the ground floor gets ventilation as it smells wet and of mold. It is defintely a great family spot.

A beautiful lodge in a fantastic setting. The rooms are well appointed and the staff went above and beyond to make my stay, with three children easy and enjoyable. They even jump started my car and escorted me to the fuel station to check that all was ok. Brilliant place to spend some time I only wish I could have...

Stay at least three nights to enjoy two full days in this idyllic place! Longer would be even better as there is much to do and see. The positioning of the 'upper' six rooms provides wonderful views of the stunning valley. Riders should take advantage of the foot-sure ponies and reliable guides. Thanks to all the welcoming staff and everyone...

The lodge was lovely, very comfortable and set in the most beautiful scenery. The service was excellent, the staff really went out of their way to please us and accommodate our needs. If you get a chance try a massage, its heavenly!

Maliba Mountaun Lodge is situated in a nature park, far away from everything and that has a certain charm if you like such an experience. The 6 chalets are very cozy, large and comfortable. Hiking is great, but beware of the circular route. We are experienced, but as there were hardly any markers left, it was a bit scary. Apart...

One of a kind experience in this amazing hidden lodge in the mountains. Great food,, immaculate rooms, nice hiking trails set in amazing scenery- only hiccup is the long drive from Johannesburg and the still rather inexperienced staff - with a bit of Training this Will be a true 5-Star

We ended our trip with a few nights at Maliba and overall it was a great way to wrap up our trip. Check-in was very smooth and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. We did a few hikes - luckily the rivers had receded enough to cross after the recent rains - and found their maps and descriptions to...
