Small nice hotel, situated in the town center. Rooms below average but nice and clean. Service and reception is friendly and polite. The restaurant is serving nice danish meals - rich portions - there is always guests in the restaurant so you are not all by yourself!

This was a last-minute booking and a late arrival meant a poor choice of rooms. We were forced to take a "smoking room" that was of a poorer quality than I would expect of a modern hotel. But beggars can't be choosers I thought! Note that our room was on the other side of the street (i.e., across from the... More

Hotel is only hotel in centre of Brande. My room was located on the ground floor and was accessed from a corridor that appeared to be off the hotel offices. Room was extremely basic and was riddled with poor plastering and mismatched lighting. Room had another door that lead to parking lot and so was noisy with the coming and... More

The hotel is very convenient if you have business in or close to Brande. I found it very adequate. It is very basic, furniture is outdated and hotel has "old" feeling but the hotel is clean and people very nice and breakfast also adequate. Parking is plentiful and free. The internet connection was good. Lady at front desk barely cracks... More

I have stayed in Hotel Dalgas 2 times since last year. The whole reception ambiance is quaint and cozy with a cheerful staff behind the desk. Its not a type of hotel which has people buzzing around. You feel instantly at ease and finding your room is quite straightforward. The lady at the desk even helped my with one of... More

I have stayed at the DalGas on four separate occasions over the last couple of months, returning earlier this week. In a world where hotels increasingly seem to look and feel the same, the DalGas remains resolutely unnusual. The reception, bar and hotel reception close alarmingly early on weeknights, making an arrival after 11.00am quite alarming for first-time visitors. You... More

We bought a Spot deal........ an extremely wise decision. Absolutely everything was just tip top, - the rooms were big, nice and very clean, the staff just as a staff should be and I almost miss words to describe the food, so just SUPER will have to do!!! As far as I remember this is only the 2nd time I... More

Normal rooms, i didn't like the bed and the breakfast was super bad, those eggs just smelly and awful. The rooms were clean enough, good Wifi, and good location even though Brande it's not a huge place, still nice to walk to the supermarket.

The positive: - The price is ok for Danish standards - The free internet wifi is very fast and stable - The breakfast offering is pretty good, it has fresh fruit (not just processed fruit) - The hotel is located about 400 meters away from the railway station, which has an hourly connection to Copenhagen The negative: - When paying...
