We had a lovely paella here and cold beers one evening sitting at the water’s edge overlooking the bay. Our children enjoyed watching all the activities going on, small boats coming and going and wedding photos being taken on the jetty. Lovely view of the “cat’s ears” hills in the distance! I think the restaurant is part of a small hotel.

We love this little piece of Heaven. Book to sit on the sea front, view second to none! We have eaten here many times and it’s very good value. The Sea Bass in sea salt is gorgeous, sardinas, fish soup, seafood paella, cheesecake and carrot cake wow. Staff amazing. So friendly and helpful and make suggestions if needed. We will be back many more times. Thank you Sue and Ray

Was here 15 years ago, not much has changed. Wonderful views beside the sea. Spray from waves on rocks below our table was refreshing. Had a very generous mixed salad followed by an 'arroz caldoso de bogavante'. A rice stew done with local lobster in a deep metal cooking pot. Was wonderful, the rice just perfect, not overcooked and not too al dente. Very tasty. We were 2 people, couple of beers and glasses of wine plus the salad and rice was 48 €. Very reasonable. To be recomended.

This is a very traditional Spanish Hostal. The rooms are basic but they are clean so as a place to sleep it was OK. My main criticism was the lack if hot water - it ran out in the evening and was non existent the following morning, presumably this is to do with solar heating and a small tank! The USP for this establishment is its restaurant and its location right on the sea front next to the ancient small harbour. It is simply stunning. If you stay here or simply come to dine, do not expect big city type service. It is completely laid back, unhurried and very typically Spanish. The restaurant specialises in fish and seafood dishes although all the other usual suspects are on offer. You will need to have a few words of Spanish to enable you to be understood and if you are prepared to interact with the staff in a positive friendly manner they will reciprocate.

I absolutely loved this restaurant! One 5 day vacation visited twice! The fish is sooo delicious, cooked to the point, seasoned right, as fresh as it could ever be! The view from the restaurant is brilliant, we had a cloudy stormy day on one day and a sunny calm day on another. Both beautiful to be looking out and enjoying the view of the restaurant! The service is good and you're provided with recommendations and everything you need. If you are looking for a posh/elegant place this is not your place. If you are looking for a traditional feel, great surroundings and views and with fish as good as it gets, this is definitely the place for you!
