The hotel is small and the location is up in the mouintain in a small town. The views are stunning and the owners/managers go all the way for the customer. Its really nice. The rooms some are big and spacious some are small. The restaurant is also run by them so sometimes they are overloaded but the food is very...

I so want to give this place the maximum score – the building, a 13th century castle built to guard the stunning valley of the Aspe in the Pyrenees, is lovely from the outside. The scenery is absolutely unbeatable, you will not be able to stop taking photographs of the mountains, the gorge in both directions, the river, the little...

The location for this hotel is stunning. Really friendly staff who couldn't do enough to help us. It was snowing and raining during our stay but there was a lovely warm large log fire burning in the lounge area. The room was a bit disappointing but it was clean and lots of hot water for a bath on a cold...

Arrived back in Cette after a hike to find the restaurant closing for the afternoon. Really friendly staff set a table especially for us on the terrace (fantastic views down the valley) and brought iced water and lunch menus. Simple meals but very tasty - washed down with cold beer. Looking into staying at the hotel on our next visit.

I thoroughly enjoyed my 2 nights at this hotel with my Dad. The lady who runs the place looked after us very well and was a fantastic host. The hotel is a great location for walks in Vallee d'Aspe, and they even provided a picnic & maps for us which was very helpful. I hope I get to stay again...

What a hotel - spectacular views along the Pyrenees, excellent business centre and fabulous food. This hotel really understood the importance of customer care - any queries / requests were dealt with efficiently and quickly. Language proved no problem with the manager fluent in French, English and Spanish. Don't go to the Chateau d'Arance if you're on a diet -...

This hotel is located in the Val d'Aspe in the Pyrenees Atlantique in the tiny village of Cette on the mountainside (Eygun is in the valley on the road), It is in a stunningly beautiful situation and is excellent value for a week in the mountains to walk, bike ride or just tour about. The bed was most comfortable and...

As part of my whirlwind trip through the Pyrenees, I recently visited this lovely hotel just miles from the border between France and Spain. The property wasn't at its best because of the weather conditions (grey and rainy) but it was certainly a wow. Set high above the river valley, the views are stunning and reminded me of the Canadian...
