If you are looking for a one-of-a-kind luxury experience, then you've come to the right place. We are a true oceanfront luxury resort right in the middle of Kamala and Patong Beaches (5-mins drive away). Both Kamala and Patong Beaches are not within short walking distance. Thavorn Beach Village Resort & Spa has one of Phuket's last remaining unspoiled private beaches (over 600 metres long) and several highly unique features. We have a 4,000 square metre free-form Lagoon Swimming Pool, one of the largest in South East Asia, 14 acres of orchid and tropical gardens, a hillside Cable Car, a world class Spa, unique Romantic Dining experiences, a pier, and Phuket's first privately funded coral conservation centre. This secluded beach and tropical oasis awaits you.
Please be noticed that Nakalay Beach's appearance, atmosphere, and accessibility changes significantly during low and high tide. During low tide, prehistoric coral remains become visible making the beach not conducive for swimming. Guests who purchase any product from Thavorn Beach Village Resort & Spa or from any of its affiliated businesses acknowledges this fact before making the purchase. Any complaints or request for refund regarding this issue will not be subsequently entertained.
Built in the mid-1980's, the resort reflects the designs of those days and is dated in places, but it was way ahead of its time. For the most part the resort is excellent, but some things need to be brought up to today's standards - eg, there are minimal power points in the rooms and no USB ports. We had to buy a power board locally to plug in our devices. The gardens are beautifully designed and maintained, mature and quite wonderful. Rooms are well appointed and equipped, if rather dated, and pool access rooms are outstanding. Staff are friendly and attentive - thank you. We loved the small menagerie brought out for visiting children twice a day - tortoises, piglets, birds, etc. - great fun. Buffet breakfast was always outstanding, but evening meals were just woeful. Very ordinary food and taking close to an hour to arrive, whether ordered in the restaurant or by room service. Very disappointing. Be warned that the laundry prices were the most expensive I have EVER come across in decades of worldwide travelling! But, to be fair, when I complained they gave me 20% off. The resort is quiet and somewhat remote, but close to the action if wanted by minibus. A rental car is worthwhile if staying for a while. Overall, highly recommended - to the extent that we are staying again in a couple of months time. Thanks to everyone for making our first post-Covid trip so enjoyable.…
Located on the kamala beach, away from the hustle bustle of the patong market and it's a quiet and serene place. Hill top rooms are beautiful with a view towards the Andaman sea. Rooms tropical view are better in terms of location towards accessibility towards the beach Breakfast is good , spread and selection and design could be better . Not a good place for special occasions , the hotel team didn't do much even though this was informed that the travel was for a anniversary celebration. Rose the RDM was helpful and friendly. Lobby team was great and did guide us well
the room is very spacious and well clean. We are greeted by very friendly staff who are very attentive to our needs. breakfast are great. although close to the Sea.i would recommend for the other people who are new couple for your best vacation
The hotel has stunning grounds. So beautiful to walk around and swim with very lush green gardens and a beautiful swimming pool wrapped around. We took a pool access room but the location of it was not so great. A bit dark and very dated. Room was big, beds very firm, bathroom big but dated. We had dinner at the hirel on our first night. We ordered 2 cocktails, 2 dishes and a soup and 1 coconut. Our bill was 2000baht. The next night we went to a restaurant tight outside the hotel and had a great meal with 3 dishes, beer and coconut for 600 baht. We took a taxi from right outside of he road of the horltel for a round trip of 200 baht. Even though it's a very quiet walk, it's too much walking on the main road without sidewalk. The beach is nice but rough. In the afternoon there's low tide and exposed all the big rocks in the sea. You need to walk past them to get in. Pros: Beautiful hotel grounds and pool Lovely cafe for afternoon coffee and cake Private beach Many places to sit and launge around th pool and beach Breakfast with big varaity Daily shuttle to Patong Cons: Bed very firm Rooms dated Limited dinning options Isolated …
Everything was amazing, until i was met but a rude mean reception manager “Palmy” that kept me waiting for half hour talk in the rudest manner and ruined a great day. Hope you are happy palmy reception manager .. was going to come to this hotel plenty of times, but not again.
