One of the nicest hotel we have visited. All details from being welcomed by the staff to tranquility, flowers, bed sheets, service etc is all aligned and provides a real completeness and therefore sets a very high standard to the stay. Excellent rooms and view over the ocean. Vacation as its best.

Difficult to put on to words how amazing this resort is, we stopped in the gravity Suites which is around 200m further up the road than the main eco resort but used the facilities in both as we had family stopping in the main resort.

The suites are very modern chic and have been very well decorated. With only 6 rooms the staff are very attentive and ensure your stay is everything you could wish for.

They are happy to organise taxis or drivers for you depending on your needs and even send you a recommendation file on arrive of local restaurants.

We opted for the largest suite due to it having a private pool as I enjoy a late night dip and it was so peaceful and private we could have been in our own villa.

You will not be disappointed if you choose to stop here it the perfect home from home.

My 6th time to Bali with my son, I wanted a special hotel having read the reviews. Whilst there were many good elements to this hotel, I think it is priced well over what it should be. Room size is adequate but twin beds were extremely small. The room smelt extremely musty and was very off putting. The sliding doors to the room continually jammed and the key lock hard to manage. Every time it rained the shower flooded with mud and blocked the drains, usually overnight so you had to deal with it in the morning. The food menu particularly breakfast was limited. Food was ok. Pool areas and surrounds were very pleasant. Nice quite spot with view from top. Staff friendly and helpful. Just not quite there for what you have to pay. Have done much better elsewhere in terms of value for money.

More glamping than boutique b&b. Thatched ‘Huts’ around the pool with basic facilities in the room. No tea and coffee making available and very little storage in the one we stayed in. Essentially a hallway with a little fridge and a sink - the only area to keep your clothes , so it’s very tight. The bed was small and the pillows very poor quality. Bedding tired and needs replaced.

We also experienced quite poor service but this was acknowledged with the offer of a ‘free meal’ There is not a proper coffee machine only a cheap ‘pods’ system at the bar which makes a terrible cappuccino. I drink strong black and three times my coffee was served luke warm from a percolator. When I sent it back, on one occasion I watched the man behind the bar put instant coffee into the cup. We waited 30 minutes one morning for a coffee and it came cold. We also waited over one hour for breakfast. I don’t understand why they don’t have the fruit and yogurt plates pre prepared. After this incident, the next two mornings it came quickly and there was no issue. Unfortunately I had to complain.

The menu is basic and outrageously expensive for Bali. The cost of the cocktails is more expensive than beach clubs like Finns and Sundays which is ridiculous. The cocktails weren’t even very good. Everything is monetised here and it starts to get very irritating. Charging for terrible cappuccinos for a start.

I’m sure there a far better places to stay for less cost. They must sort out the price point of the drinks and food. I would not stay here on my next trip. I suggest the owner reviews Koho Air in Gillie for a example of how to do justice to an instagramable place.

The location of this resort is off a main road that currently has lots of construction that is making the area quite dusty to drive/ walk through. The actual resort is small and feels very intimate. Four of the bungalows are facing a small pool. The resort was not full at this time, so it didn’t matter that the bungalows are not very well hidden from each other. If the resort was at capacity, privacy might be an issue. This resort would suit people looking for an upgrade on traditional surfer beach huts. Typically good, Bali vibes service from the staff and the breakfast was exceptional with lots to choose from. The twin beds are however very thin and the white paint throughout the resort desperately needs a fresh coat of paint. Happy that this place was constructed from local stone and bamboo with thought to the local environment.

On our last stop of our tour of Bali we wanted to stay at a nice place close to Denpasar and some beaches since we have been mainly touring the inland.
Gravity completely surprised us! We‘ve booked a suite there and fell in love with the boutique-Charme immediately!
The good people at Gravity made our 2-night-stay so remarkable by being nice, helpful, funny, warm and cheerful. Much better than we‘ve hoped for it to be and if you get a chance, try the „white dream“ suite, it‘s very spacious and calm, we‘ve had one of the best sleeps there during the entire stay in Bali.
Breakfast is included and really delicious, you‘re free to ask for more if you like, we’ve been more than happy to with the portions, though. The Turkish eggs for breakfast and pink spaghetti with beetroot during the day have made our hearts go pretty fast. Get a mixed berry juice along with that and there‘ll be a guaranteed smile!
We‘ll be back for sure!

We had an absolutely fantastic time staying at the new Gravity hotel suite. The room was amazing with its quirky outdoor bathroom. The staff were so good and couldn’t do enough for us. I would not hesitate in recommending this place to anyone, who wants a quiet and relaxing holiday.

Stayed for 6 nights and the experience improved more and more as we got to get to know the staff more each day.
Their attention to detail, genuine and friendly nature, fluent in English and also appreciated our limited knowledge of Indonesian greetings and vocabulary.
Stayed in the white dream suite and was spacious and relaxing in morning and at the end of the day. Facilities are always well maintained and clean.
Many nights out in the pool with cocktails and great relaxing conversation. 10/10 will visit again.

YES! Ask for your room to be by the main pool, but regardless it is worth it. We didn’t visit the second pool at all on our stay despite it being a very small resort

Hello, just wondering does the family cabana have walls separating each bedroom? Cheers
Answer from Alia Z

Hello, I can't confirm on this but I think they have one queen bed upstairs and one queen bed downstairs, so they're separated. Hope this helps!
Answer from Danielalulli3010
Greater London, United Kingdom4 contributions1 helpful vote
Hello! There are no windows at all in the family cabana, but if it's a question of security it's super safe and quiet in Gravity, they have security and someone on the property all night. There are mosquito nets for around each bed, so be aware it won't be as cool as an air conditioned room but there are large fans. Cannot recommend this hotel enough though, was a truly spectacular experience!!
