After arriving at midnight & opening our bungalow doors the morning after we simply fell in love with Mu. Everything about this place is perfect; the divine breakfasts, the fragrant towels, abundant areas to sit and be, breathtaking cliff top ocean views, elegant Balinese design at every turn. The peaceful atmosphere is largely created by the cheerful but unassuming staff....

The two of us had 4 nights in the Matahari hut and loved it. This is a place for relaxing, reading, dreaming and soaking in the atmosphere. The huts are made of native materials. The food is home cooked, best muesli we've ever had and freshly baked brioche in the morning to go with your piping hot omelet. We enjoyed...

My husband and I are frequent bali visitors and stayed at Mu for the 1st time in October. this place definitely has the wow factor, is perfect to re-energise the batteries and a feeling of being amongst the 'real bali'. We stayed in the cliff bungalow and the pura bungalow both as beautiful as the other in their own right....

This place has an absolutely amazing view!! However unfortunately that would be the one of the only few good things I would say about this place. If u want to go and do absolutely nothing then this is the place for you. Breakfast is included and could not believe my eyes when there were literally 100's of bees on ur...

We stayed at Mu for 4 nights and would have loved to stay for more. There is only a handful of bungalows so the mood was relaxed plus the infinity pool and lounge chairs overlooking the ocean and a reef break below made it a great place to just chill out. i thought the service was fine and the meals...

We stayed at Mu in September for the first 3 nights of our honeymoon and it was the perfect place for us to recover from jet lag and a month of wedding festivities. The pool and the view from the pool area are amazing, and there are lots of spots on the property to have a quiet spot alone or...

I think the other reviewers summed it up well; breathtaking location, intimate vibe with only a handful of bungalows, and sensational food. I only want to comment on the service, which while pleasant enough, really lacked the personal touch we have experienced elsewhere in Bali. Mu is run like a boutique European hotel which is fine, but the lack of...

We recently stayed here for 3 nights at the end of our trip - what a way to finish! We stayed in the Bulan bungalow - beautiful room. The bathroom is a short walk away but not a problem at all (don't let this put you off - it's very tucked away, and the double bamboo shower was amazing!) My...

We arrived late at night and were asked to join the guests having dinner. iPad walked up to a large dinning table with all couple (I was with a friend). We felt tired and uncomfortable until the guests quickly welcomed us and showed us what to do. We made great friends around that table and had excellent conversations. The pool...

A small part of our 3 week honeymoon and certainly one of the highlights. Our stay in the Cliff Room at Mu was one of the most amazing travel experiences of my life. A truly unique experience. Very, Very special. The open air view across the bay from The Impossible "break" across Bingin beach and down to Dreamlands was breathtaking....
