It's easily accessible from the airport and within walking distance of the MRT Minquan West Road Station. It used to be a designated hotel for tours from Japan, but it seems to have become much less popular since COVID-19. This is my first visit in about a year. The room is still spacious, but it's still old. Bathroom amenities such as toothbrushes and razors are provided by the guest. There are still not many electrical outlets, with only a USB socket installed next to the bed. This time I stayed in a twin room, but the bed was wide and comfortable. The breakfast seemed to be of slightly lower quality than last time. The elderly staff who have been there for a long time and are fluent in Japanese were still there, but I was concerned about the lack of enthusiasm of the other front desk staff.

There were a lot of negative reviews about it, such as it being old and dark, but overall we were comfortable. The rooms are spacious and two bottles of water are added daily. There are two outlets near the pot. The toilet water flow is weak, so be careful. Be careful as the floor will be slippery after showering. There was no hand soap, so I brought it in a small case. The provided hair dryer is not suitable for children, so we recommend bringing your own. Breakfast tastes average. It was never crowded. I was in trouble because I lost my phone, but the Japanese staff called everyone and got it back safely. I have nothing but gratitude. There's a Seven Seven next to the hotel, but the staff are unpleasant. I was cheated on the change. There's also one across the road, so I think that's better.

The room is spacious, the facilities are old, and it is accessible by airport bus 1841.
During my visit, the minimum temperature in Taipei continued to drop to 10°C. There was a dial to adjust the room temperature, but it wasn't working. The air conditioning was controlled throughout the building, and there was no heating, so I was given a blanket.
There was also a washlet, but the toilet, which was an important feature, stopped flushing, so I had to have it repaired.

I spent 14 days of a quarantine at Santos Hotel. Any quarantine, being usually tough, at Santos Hotel is a disaster. The food quality is terrible, you can barely eat it, as the taste is a nightmare. Because of the food quality and its quantity, even if you ate everything, you would not be even close to being full. Therefore, I had to order food from FoodPanda. Yet, when the food from FoodPanda arrived, the staff was not very open to bring it to my room, as I was told in a rude way by the front desk that they would bring me food when they want to, not when I ask them to. The room looks like if the time stopped in it about 50 years ago.

Facility is average. Nice people and willing to service during my quarantine stay in Taipei. Surprisingly they can always delivery my Uber eats, Panda Eats, or online shopping instantly. Especially for food delivery, it's important to delivery to room for fresh taste. Santos made it super efficiency. Good jobs.

This hotel has been my first choice for a long time when I stay in Taipei. It is easily accessible from both Taoyuan Airport and Songshan Airport. Although the facilities are undeniably aging, the building and rooms are well-cleaned and I don't feel uncomfortable at all. The room is spacious, and there are no problems with the temperature or water pressure in the bathroom. The TV in the room is a little old and there was no HDMI port available. However, one thing I felt after staying there for the first time in a while was that when I went in and out of the hotel, I passed by the front desk, and not only did I never see a smile from the front desk staff, they didn't even turn their faces towards the guests, which was a bit disappointing.

Despite been seasoned hotel, surprisingly it did held to its 4 ⭐️🌟🌟⭐️ reputation. Buffet breakfast seem normal for its patrons. Well located within 5-10 minutes walk to nearest R13 Metro Taipei . The lift work operationally fined. And the hotel maintenance need to more refined tools to begin with

Not bad for Taiwan. Yes it is a little old and the wallpaper in the foyers is peeling but quite large rooms. Location is good a 5 minute walk to the subway. House keeping are very attentive and the buffet breakfast had great choices. Beds are hard (personal point) but water pressure in bathroom was unbelievably strong. Never had to wait too long for a lift but there is no bar in the hotel

We have stayed in this hotel in both April and July, totally for six nights. We choose to stay in this hotel as it is near our chosen Taiwan wedding photo-taking shop.
The location is 5 mins walk from Mingquan West Road MRT Station and 5-10 mins walk to the bus station headed to the Taipei CKS International Airport. It was just bad that you have to carry your heavy luggages walking up the long staircase of the bridge to across the street both to the MRT station and bus station.
The room was clean and tidy, wth clean towels and bed sheets changed everyday. There're shampoo, bath gel, toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, shaver provided but no hair conditioner. There is air-dryer in the bathroom as well. The room is quite large and have sofa as well.
Breakfast are provided from 7 to 10am everyday with lots of variety, taste average.
There is a 7-eleven just next to the hotel and very convenient to buy snacks and drinks at night.

Stayed over christmas. Good value for money, within 5 mins walk to MRT (Mingquan West), and 1 MRT to Shilin Night Market. It's not located in town though (i.e. need to take an mrt/cab which is quite easy and convenient). Cater mainly to Japanese market. Only complaint is the double bed is rather small for 2 persons and very bouncy such that every movement of the partner is felt. Overall, nice value for money hotel.
