2017 Dec 17-19. The family with the extended family had our quick getaway to Taipei. The trip consists mostly of zoo visit and tours. We had a glorious time, so we never managed to experience the hotel facilities too much. The proximity of the place to the tourist areas and price were consideration for the booking.

I was stayed in fullon hotel shenkeng for 3 nights for short trip in TW. Once I entered the lobby for check in, I felt everything is generally okay as 4 stars hotel; such as cleanliness, atmosphere etc. Although, there was small mistakes during check in, I think it is totally fine since hotel staff's attitude was very kind. Room condition was quite okay. Cozy room, wide TV, bigger restroom than I expected. However, there was only one thing makes me weird, it was bed cover with weird panda design.(I also found that that panda pictures are in many places in hotel, it was seems like hotel promoting that panda.) To be honest, that panda picture is seems like was drawn by kid, which means is not professional design. IT IS NOT PROPER DESIGN WITH 4 STARS HOTEL AT ALL.(Refer to attached picture) Without bed cover, overall in the room was totally fine for me. For the breakfast, I think it will be okay if this hotel only has local guests, because I found that western foods in breakfast section is almost same as nothing.... so I would like to recommend with F&B manager to prepare some basic western foods such as normal 4 stars hotel for foreign guests who from South Korea etc... I am from South Korea, and would like to inform that Korean is actually not get used to eat Taiwanese local foods as you thought. Summary. 1) Please change the design of bed cover in the room. 2) Prepare basic western cuisine in breakfast section. Without these 2 things, I was satisfy the staying with fullon hotel! We stayed here with a large group of university students and adults, and the overall consensus is that the rooms were good (but very humid - windows were frequently steamed up) There was good space in the basement for meeting as a large group. The pool was closed when we were here, so cannot speak to that. The breakfast buffet had a lot of choices, but it wasn't as well received as some of the other hotels we stayed at. The food quality wasn't as good, and the coffee seemed very weak (almost decaffeinated) so people walked down the street to Luisa's Cafe for better coffee choices. We were using a tour bus to reach several different locations, so the location of the hotel worked fine for us. It isn't located in a tourist area, so the shops in the surrounding area are primarily for locals, although there are restaurants, cafes, and other shops that tourists might choose to visit.…

Fullon East has a lobby bar, a great place for a quiet drink, The hotel also has a jacuzzi and a swimming pool. The rooms are adequate and service is excellent. The restaurant has a variety of Chinese dishes, including some captivating dishes such as chicken with rambutan, known as "hairy lychees."

I stayed this hotel for a week with my wife as tourist. Pros; - the room is very clean with nice view to be able to see the mountain, and the bathroom is big; - the bed is comfortable, which offered good sleep during staying; - staffs especially at front desk area were really nice to offer good service to all guests; - quick response from front-desk and housekeeping when i calling for any help; - Fitness center is small, but clean and not too many guests there; - easy to get taxi, and bus station is just 30-secs walking distance, which is very convenient; Cons: - the breakfast needs to be improved. There is no too much selection, very Japanese/Korean style, which doesn't fit us at all; - the coffee offered at breakfast is way to light, need to have real black coffee; It's 15 mins from hotel to Taipei downtown via taxi, so location is not the issue for us. Overall, this hotel offers acceptable price with quite good service. We shall come back if we visit Taipei next time.…

Spent four days here recently for a conference and found this a most adequate hotel for the purpose. The staff were efficient and quick to attend to our needs. The location is not in the most exciting part of Taipei, perhaps, but this was of little consqence for those of us coming only for the meetings at the hotel. The distance from the Airport is at least 40 minutes and can be more in the rush hours. The only drawback was lack of a late night bar or availablility of late night snacks.

I stayed in the hotel for one night with my wife and friends during Ching Ming holiday vacation: 1.Staff I met in this hotel earned all the three stars. I ordered a birth day cake for my friend's kid a few days before checking in, and since the kid is an infant, I had to request some customized needs for the cake. In communication process, the staff were very patient and helpful despite such customer service of making birthday cake is actually not offered. 2.The hotel itself is in acceptable condition, the room is small but clean and comfortable. However, the breakfast was not good. Normally if you have reserved the special offer about birthday , we would provide a slice of complimentary cake from our dessert frige. With regards to Hotel Breakfast, our chef adjusts our menu daily depending on types of guests. i.e Korean, Japanese, local Taiwanese or Malay. Our breakfast selections will vary widely. Usually if our guest has special needs or requests for certain particular breakfast items, we can and will complied with guest needs. The room is spacious enough. There were 3 of us with two double beds. Beds were comfortable, AC was working (it was a hot summer), bathroom was spacious enough. We had a problem with soap dispenser that won't stop dispensing, but it was soon fixed on the next day. Location was probably not so great. It has 7/11, 50 (favorite bubble tea shop in Taiwan), and Wellcome supermarket within walking distance, but surely there was no metro station around. We traveled around with a tour, so it wasn't a problem for us but travelers that plan to use metro get around Taipei should pay attention. Using taxi may be a convenient choice, and it's not that expensive too if you travel in a group of 3 or 4. Breakfast. It was mediocre at best. I didn't hate it that much, but at my third breakfast I resorted to eat plain mantou buns & salad only since the other menus are not so appetizing. The restaurant also has an impression that it's actually a meeting hall turned into an emergency dining room. Probably just my opinion. Overall a pleasant stay, but I'd find somewhere else to stay if I visit Taipei again.…

My experience about this hotel is clean, simple, comfortable bed, clean toilet and reasonable. My other observation was breakfast was below expectation, food served were mostly oriental, poor selection of pastry, Chinese type selection. The other observation was room emergency sign light was too bright, it is very disturbing, I had asked the housekeeping to switch it off but they said it is for emergency purposes not encourage to switch it off. If you are the person that cannot sleep with the light on, please avoid this hotel. Also, this hotel is about 10 km away from Taipei City, taxi fare to city is about NT$350 but if you are saving type, you may use the public bus which is convenient and quick. Internet speed is fast and stable.
