My wife and I had to fly from the US to Taipei to visit her Mom and we were required to go through a mandatory 15 day hotel quarantine. My wife picked this hotel and I'm glad she did. As a part of the quarantine procedure, we were taken directly to our room. We secured a suite room on the 12th floor. The room was very modern, large and clean.Bed was great, shower was great and robes were great. EVERYONE in the hotel was there to help. Their goal is to make you feel like family and they accomplished their goal. An extra thank you to Jeremy, Kevin, Cynthia, Joyce, Jenny and Elmo. You all did an awesome job! Once we got out of quarantine, we stayed another week and switched into a deluxe room. Also a really nice room. Now that we could see the lobby, it too is really nice and Chic and cool. Being a world traveler and with high expectations, this hotel checks all of the boxes for a high end experience. Great ambiance, great people and great location. Thanks to all for making our trip enjoyable. Keep up the good work.

I am travelling like mad, have zero time and have stopped posting reviews a while ago. Thisplace however needs to be mentioned. I checked in last night and out this afternoon. Contrary to almost all reviews: It was oustandiung! The Phillippe Starck design is great, and it is less imposing than e.g. at the New York hotels Paramount, Royaltan, Morgans in the early days. When Accor took the management over end of 2023, they could have done a bit more on renovation. In my room (908) a part of the wallpaper started to come down. But that's a detail. I really want to thank the team for the excellent service. Great check-in with status recognition, room upgrade, late check-out offered, without asking for it etc. Completely impeccable was the breakfast this morning - served, a la carte (not from a buffet). A lot of food on the table, all delicious (bread in Asia is usually a challenge), served charmingly in the positively quirky Philippe Starck environment. I'll be back soon!

I had the most amazing time at SL Hotel. The staff were all so very pleasant. The views are just breathtaking and the hotel is in a great location. I used a very trustworthy driver while there Aldwayne Birch +1 (876) 479-3887 . He was super fair and didn’t up charge us because we were tourists. It’s not easy to come by a gem like him. He helped us navigate our whole trip. It was truly amazing. Anyways the food was bombbbbbbbbbbbb I gained like 10 pounds. The DJ Scott was really grooving as well. He added life to the pool area during dinner time. Tyron was super helpful in the front and so was Maurice on the upper deck. So many more were so great but I can’t remember their names. All I know is I’ll definitely be back.

I stayed at this hotel for 8 nights as required by the "3+4" quarantine rules. Overall it was a pleasant stay. The room is clean, comfortable and spacious but t the service is inconsistent. The first 3-4 days were great but it declined quickly after that.
I paid in full for the room and meals two weeks before I arrived in Taiwan. However, they messed up my check out date and I had to call in the last 2 days for the quarantine meals to be delivered to my room. They also do not offer instant coffee or coffee machine in the room.
Taipei has many good boutique hotels but they opted not to be quarantine hotels, so I only had limited quarantine hotel choices during my quarantine period. Otherwise, I would not have chosen this hotel.

Our stay at S Hotel was superb. Staff was friendly, breakfast quality was good, room was elegant and overall experience was very positive. It is also about a 7 minutes leisure walk to the MRT. It is also a hotel that was designed by Philippe Starck.

Disappointing. So much promise, very friendly staff. Bit, let down. No restaurant in the evening and no bar. Gym, closed - breakfast very local and not that great at all. If you want to attract business clients at the rate charged. You have to do more.
Positives - lovely staff, hotel fit out is very good.

Lovely addition to the Accor brand in Taipei. Accessible with good restaurants nearby.
Well-appointed room that's befitting of Mcgallery.
Check in was smooth by Kimi. Efficient and yet warm. Very good first impression of the property as a loyal Accor member.
Looking forward to another stay in October.

I travel to Taiwan once a month to visit my parents. I usually stay at Marriott, W Hotel, Le Meridien, Hilton, Hyatt Grand and/or Sheraton hotel.
Due to entry restrictions for foreigners to Taiwan in response to COVID-19 outbreak, only Taiwanese nationals and certain foreign nationals (foreign nationals with an Alien Resident Certificate or a resident visa, migrant workers, foreign students, and foreign diplomats) are allowed to enter the country. Those who have symptoms shall be transported to a group quarantine facility to await test results; asymptomatic individuals shall undergo a 15-day period of home quarantine at home or at a quarantine hotel.
This is my 2nd time staying at a quarantine hotel in Taiwan. And the first time at S Hotel. I would say "outstanding service from the beginning to the end". I enjoyed the experience in this hotel. The people in the hotel are amazing. They will try to meet all your needs during your stay.
It's an excellent hotel, conveniently located. S Hotel is a Michelin-recommended hotel with a strong sense of modern design. Rooms are as soothing as they are stylish, refreshing and comfortable.
S HOTEL offers reasonable prices including breakfast, lunch, dinner, tax and service fee. All dishes use the best ingredients from S Restaurant & Bar designed diversified Chinese and Western style. In case you are looking for a quarantine hotel in Taipei, I would highly recommend S Hotel which provides you a comfortable 15-days quarantine experience.

I am not sure how many bad reviews you need to bring up your notice to the poor quality of your hotel service. Been an hotelier is not only building up a beautiful space. What’s more important is bringing your customer an exquisite staying experience. We certainly had an impressive experience of our staying. Unfriendly front desk, cold attitude, few breakfast selection, untrained staff service. Take more than 20 mins to bring the egg we ordered after we were seated to our table. Leave the tableware scattered on the desk when they cleaned the dishes. Oddly the best service we had is the bellboy who runs to shelter us with an umbrella when we got off the taxi and come open the heavy glass door when we were 2 feet away. Designed by P. Stark, you can feel the unusual and trendy design as soon as you get in. Nice restaurant area with an interesting menu and a large wine list. busy for lunch. The room are all white with mirrors but no desk as such. and nothing spectacular. Breakfast is a let down - not up to standard. Overall a pleasant experience at a reasonable price. Strongly advise this hotel.

The hotel is between 5 to 8min walk to MRT station depending on how fast you walk.
It's close to 2 stations: Taipei Arena and Nanjing Fuxing station.
There are more places to choose from in the Songshan area.
